Not even the prophets, or Jesus, stood by Israel while they were doing bad things. In fact, many, including Jesus, rebuked Israel while they were committing bad acts. Christians are not required by God to stand by the modern nation state of Israel while they foist death and destruction on innocent people. That's a silly assertion with no basis.
