@eBay EBay refuses to refund me then purachse of an item that was lost by the US Postal Service. What a scam their supposed "Buyer Protection" is. I'm out $816 and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it. PayPal is no help either.

Hello, i sold and shipped some components and cannot withdraw my funds. ebay has 'permanently suspended' my account but the buyer recieved the items. Funds show as available but I am not permitted to withdraw them. The buyer received the items over two weeks ago. @askebay

@eBay Beware of a scam that some eBay sellers may be using. The seller creates two shipments. One is addressed to an incorrect or vacant address, while the other is sent to your actual address with the item you purchased. You end up being charged for both shipments. When you dispute the extra charge, eBay simply sees that both tracking numbers show “delivered.” Even if UPS confirms that one tracking number was addressed to the address I say I live at…that is not the shipping address on my eBay account, eBay refuses to investigate further. Like having the seller provide a copy of the original shipping label or contacting the shipper to verify the accurate address is the one on my account that it was delivered to. The seller is the only one who can provide the original shipping label, and if they aren’t required provide it, so, you’re left with no way to prove the shipment wasn’t actually sent to your address. The result is that you can end up paying for a bogus shipment that never came to your home, while the legitimate package arrives separately and you’re charged again. Because according to eBay, both were delivered. What a scam. Be sure to check every tracking number, verify the delivery address with the carrier, and don’t assume a “Delivered” status means the package was actually sent to your address. I hate eBay their Customer Service is the worst when it comes to Byers

@askebay Subject: Feedback removal — conflicting information given, no resolution after 4 days — Case 287424181553 I'm writing to escalate an unresolved feedback removal request, case reference 287424181553. 6 July – I contacted eBay Customer Service regarding negative feedback left on a completed transaction (buyer's complaint related to a third party, not the transaction itself). Agent Anand confirmed no appeal was on file and directed me to submit one via the Seller Help feedback tool, stating I would receive a decision by email within 8–12 hours. I did not receive any such email. 8 July – I contacted eBay again. Agent Mohammad stated the removal request had "already been processed" and would reflect on my account within 24–72 hours. 10 July – The feedback is still visible on my account. I have now received two different explanations of where this stands, and no written confirmation of an outcome either way. I'd like this escalated to a supervisor, and I'd like: Written confirmation of the current status of case 287424181553 Confirmation of whether the appeal was actually reviewed, and the outcome A clear timeframe if further action is needed I have full chat transcripts from both 6 July and 8 July available if required.
