Chief Kidd and other state agency leaders briefed Gov. Abbott on how TDEM and our Texas Emergency Management Council partners have prepared for impacts from winter weather. Texans can find information on state resources and additional details at disaster.texas.gov

Our #TXEMTF personnel are mobilizing statewide ahead of the upcoming winter storm, working alongside @TDEM, @TXForestService, @TexasDSHS & other state and local partners. We encourage all Texans to monitor local weather conditions, have a plan, and prepare accordingly.

Responders from TDEM, @txtf1, @TXForestService, @TXEMTF, @TPWDnews, @TXMilitary, and @TXTIFMAS trained in College Station last week on all-hazards response operations. This effort strengthened coordination and addressed how to best support Texas communities during disasters.

The #TXEMTF remains deployed to support affected jurisdictions across Texas. So far, TXEMTF teams have: ✅ 10,638 patient encounters 🏥 220 patients treated on scene 🚑125 patients transported for further care

Local, state, and out of state responders continue supporting Texans and their communities in the wake of catastrophic flooding impacts. Responders are: ⏩Supporting resource needs ⏩Conducting damage assessments ⏩Maintaining 24/7 operations #TeamTexas

85 agencies from across Texas are deployed right now as part of the Texas Emergency Medical Task Force. So far: ✅ 6,637 patient encounters ✅ 182 patients treated ✅ 109 transported This is what we mean when we say "Texans helping Texans."

🚨 The #TXEMTF has deployed 220+ personnel and 130 assets statewide to support search, rescue, and recovery in flood and storm-affected areas. 📍 Teams are currently operating in Kerr, Sutton, San Saba, Lampasas, Comal, and Williamson counties. #TexansHelpingTexans
