HFD units are on scene of a high-angle rescue near the I-45 and I-10 exchange just north of downtown Houston. Scene is still active. Expect delays and plan alternate routes.

HFD was prepared for an estimated 2000 Brazil supporters during today’s FIFA World Cup Fan March. Crews reported no heat-related patient contacts or transport. HFD staffed two first-aid stations and deployed EMS and fire resources along the route to support a safe event.

128 cadets across three classes reported to the Val Jahnke Training Academy this week, the largest group to begin training simultaneously in HFD history. Among them are HFD's first two DoD SkillBridge participants. The previous record of 123 was set just last June. #HoustonFire
