This hits because most people want the reward, not the responsibility. They want the freedom, but not the discipline. The results, but not the repetition.

My favorite quote from Atomic Habits by James Clear: "It doesn't make sense to continue wanting something if you're not willing to do what it takes to get it. If you don't want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process is to guarantee disappointment."

The endgame of competence is simple: you become so skilled, so resourceful, and so strategically embedded that whether it’s a company, a relationship, or a project, the rational move for everyone involved is to keep you, reward you, and bet on you, because losing you would cost them more than they’re willing to pay.

The most dangerous move is believing transparency protects you. It doesn’t. It merely gives others material to interpret, distort, and use against you. Control what is known, reveal only what strengthens your position, and remember that mystery is defense.

The calmest people I know have stopped trying to control outcomes they can't control. They do their best. Release the rest. Attachment to specific results is attachment to suffering. Control the input. Accept the output.

خجل الطفولة والجريمة … من خلال تجربتي في عالم المال والأعمال، تعاملت مع الكثير من الرجال و النساء ، من رواد النجاح ، لكن وجت البعض منهم ، برغم الثروة والمكانة كانوا أسرى عقد واضحة: غيرة قاتلة ، تعجرف مهين ، تعمد لإذلال الآخرين، انعدام ثقة بالنفس، وأحيانا شذوذ عقلي مع كل من يعمل تحت سلطته . مفارقة حيّرتني طويلا، إلى أن قادتني القراءة في علم النفس إلى خيط واحد اسمه خجل الطفولة. فخجل الطفولة ليس حياء طبيعي كما تعتقد عزيزي القارئ ، بل هو ضغط نفسي متراكم ناتج عن إساءة، أو سخرية، أو قمع، أو اضطهاد من قريب أو غريب مع خوف لم يسمح للطفل أن يعبر عنه أو يرد عليه. فيخزن الألم في العقل الباطن ، وينتظر لحظة القوة. وحين تتوفر هذه القوة، مالا أو سلطة أو شهرة، تظهر العقد في صورة انعدام ثقة ، ثم انتقام بأدوات مختلفة. وتشير المحللة النفسية السويسرية أليس ميلر في كتابها ( دراما الطفل الموهوب ) : إلى أن الطفل الذي لم ينقذ من ألمه قد ينجح خارجيا، لكنه يعيد إنتاج جراحه على الآخرين، فيتعمد إذلالهم !

When the father doesn’t compete with the mother for affection, and doesn’t compete with the son for control. When he stands in the doorway and says, without cruelty: You are not entitled to softness. You are entitled to the results of your choices. A threat creates performers. Not men. A threatened boy learns timing. He learns appeasement. He learns hiding. He learns how to look strong while staying small. He becomes an expert at survival inside a room, and a beginner at surviving inside himself. You want the son to become a man? Then the father must be something rarer than a threat. He must be a standard that cannot be negotiated. A presence that doesn’t need fear to be real. A boundary that stays put even when it isn’t popular. A witness who sees through the boy’s stories and still demands the truth. Friendship can come later, but not as a reward for strength. As an arrival point, when the son no longer needs a father to regulate his impulses, because he has finally built a father inside his own chest. -The Weaver of Woe If your law requires fear to function, it was never law, only control pretending to be care.

⚠️ كذبة "الجودة تفرض نفسها".. ليش المنافس "الأقل منك" جالس يبيع أكثر؟ خلنا نكون صريحين كم مشروع "ممتاز" قفل أبوابه العام الماضي؟ وكم مشروع "عادي" جالس يفتح فرعه العاشر؟ فيه قناعة قديمة ومعششة في عقول أغلب أصحاب الشركات تقول: "اشتغل صح والناس بتميز الجوده لحالها ".. هذي الجملة هي أكبر "فخ" ممكن يطيح فيه مشروعك في 2026. في سوقنا اليوم، الجودة الصامتة هي فشل مغلف بالأدب. 🔥 الصراع الكبير: "المتواضع" ضد "المكتسح" في السوق السعودي، فيه نوعين من أصحاب المشاريع، والجدل بينهم ما ينتهي: 1️⃣ "المظلوم المحترف" (النجاح اللي ينتظر أحد يتكلم عنه): - يغير المورد لأفضل نوع.. ولا أحد يدري. - يحسن جودة الخدمة 100%.. والزبون يحسبها "صدفة". - يرفض يتكلم عن شغله، ويقول: "الزين يفرض نفسه". - النتيجة: جودة عالية + مبيعات "على قد الحال" + شعور بالظلم لأن "المنافس الاقل جوده " مكسر الدنيا. 2️⃣ "الذكي الواضح" (النجاح اللي يتكلم عن نفسه): - مقتنع إن التسويق جزء من المنتج وليس مجرد إعلان. - يسلط الضوء على كل أصغر تفاصيل في المشروع . - يحكي قصة تعبه، ويشرح للعميل ليش سعره أغلى بريالين. النتيجة: تموضع قوي + ولاء عالي + جمهور فاهم قيمته ومستعد يدفع له. 📍 العميل مو "محقق جنائي"! العميل اليوم "عجول"، خياراته بمئات الآلاف، ووقتك عنده لا يتعدى ثواني ،مو وظيفة الجمهور إنه يكتشف عظمتك.. وظيفتك أنت إنك "تفرضها" على وعيه. إذا أنت طورت جودة منتجك وما قلت للناس.. كأنك ما طورت شيء ، العميل ما يشتري اللي "ما يفهمه"، حتى لو كان مصنوع من ذهب ، المنافس اللي جالس يبيع أكثر منك وهو "أقل جودة"، مو لأنه غشاش.. بل لأنه احترم عقل العميل وشرح له القيمة، وأنت تركت العميل "يخمن" جودتك. 📉 ليش مشاريع "المتميزة " مبيعاتها "في الارض "؟ لأنهم انتظروا السوق "يفهمهم".. والسوق ما يرحم ولا ينتظر أحد ، النجاح اللي "يتكلم عنك" (سمعة الناس) يبي له سنوات عشان يبني لك إمبراطورية.. لكن النجاح اللي "تتكلم عنه" (التوضيح الذكي) هو اللي يخليك تبني الإمبراطورية هذي في شهور. 🔚 لا تكن "جوهره مدفونة".. فالمقابر مليئة بالمشاريع العظيمة التي لم يسمع عنها أحد. اشتغل صح.. و خلي العميل يشوف شغلك ، بيّن التفاصيل.. اشرح الفرق.. احكِ القصة ، خلّ السوق يشوف تعبك، ويقدر قيمتك، ويدفع لك وهو ممتن. أفضل المشاريع مو بس اللي "تشتغل صح".. هي اللي تعرف "تحكي قصتها" بطريقة تخلي المنافسين يتفرجون عليها بحسرة.

@TalibHashem Because it’s normal prices until Valentine’s Day! I used to deliver roses for a florist back in Australia and their rose supplier doubled prices just for Valentine’s Day. And you had no choice but to pay that or miss out on the busiest day of the year.

What's up with everyone walking around with roses, and it's 2 days till Valentine's Day? I noticed yesterday people walking around with roses in malls, office buildings and in the metro. Maybe I'm growing too old. Don't mind my short rant. Enjoy your valentines. 😒
