Me mantengo firme y sin ninguna duda junto al Príncipe Heredero Reza Pahlavi. Su mensaje es claro, basado en principios y lleno de valentía. Independientemente de si los gobiernos europeos apoyan o no al pueblo iraní, la lucha por un Irán libre y democrático seguirá avanzando con una determinación inquebrantable. Es totalmente inaceptable que periodistas que se obsesionan con el sufrimiento palestino permanezcan vergonzosamente en silencio ante la brutal represión y la violencia sistemática que se ejerce contra los iraníes. Este doble rasero tan evidente e hipócrita deja al descubierto su profundo sesgo y les quita toda credibilidad moral. El verdadero liderazgo no mendiga aprobación de políticos indecisos ni de medios selectivos. El Príncipe Heredero Reza Pahlavi encarna el liderazgo que Irán necesita. Back in 2006, I had a 10-hour layover in Germany while traveling to Iran with my infant son. As a mother, it was heartbreaking to keep a fragile baby stuck in an airport that long. To leave the airport for just a few hours and get a hotel, I needed a visa. And getting that visa? A nightmare endless barriers for a young mother with a 7–8 month old child. Why? Because I was Iranian. Because my passport was not “trustworthy” in the eyes of the European Union and as far as I know, nothing has changed. So explain this: when it comes to holding a brutal regime accountable, Europe suddenly goes silent. These “educated” politicians seem perfectly comfortable dealing with oppressive rulers but when it comes to ordinary Iranians, they scrutinize us relentlessly, treating us as if we are the problem.
