The EU continues to pursue a diplomatic solution and understanding towards the Islamic regime.
Understanding what exactly?
Public executions? Torture? State-sponsored terror?
The devil cannot be cured.
The only way to end the suffering of the Iranian people is through force that will remove the Islamic regime from power.

Europe is a lot more dangerous now, than it used to be just a few years ago.
This is a fact. We are not blind or stupid.
Yet, the Left often treats us as though we are.
They are trying to convince us to ignore the evidence of our own eyes.
It's time for Europeans to take the growing threat to our continent seriously. If we don't, things will only get worse.
Much worse.

This is my message to Africa:
Do not be fooled.
European aid is another form of bondage. It will do nothing but make you more dependent.
The real solution to all of Africa’s problems must be African.
Protect your specialists and your bright minds. Don’t give them up to richer countries.
You need them now more than ever to build your future.

The Islamic regime is still executing innocent Iranians.
Even now while they're under blockade, and bleeding millions of dollars every day, they're still oppressing their people.
They're relentless in their pursuit of demoralising an entire nation.
It's been more than 2 months since they cut off the internet for the majority of Iranians.
It's insane.
This is a sick and twisted entity.
The only way forward is for the Islamic regime to be completely and utterly destroyed.

The EU cannot claim to defend human rights, while financially supporting groups that are committing atrocities.
We aid both the DRC and Rwanda.
Both parties have their hands dripping in blood.
Both parties have been accused of mass rape.
This is unacceptable.
The EU must use its financial leverage to demand change.

We cannot sacrifice our rights to privacy to give politicians the illusion of security.
Once the infrastructure for total surveillance is built, there is no turning back.
We don’t want to become China, we don’t want Chat Control.

The Islamic regime attacked the UAE.
It has once again proven itself to be an irrational, dangerous actor—as we all already know to be true.
Yet, how do the majority of European leaders respond?
They "condemn" the acts of violence and proclaim that the only way forward is through "diplomacy".
At this point, it's just embarrassing.

Great news!
We now have openings in our Brussels office for three new interns.
If you’re interested in learning about EU politics and making global change, this is the opportunity of a lifetime.
The application period ends on Sunday 10 May 2026. The internship can be done in English or Finnish.
You can find the application and more information about the internship here:

Europe has shamed us all.
It chose cheap gas prices over the lives of Iranian people.
It chose to give this regime a chance to recover, instead of demanding it be destroyed.
In the meantime, the Islamic regime will continue executing innocent Iranians. It will continue oppressing the people and silencing their voices.
For those who pushed for a ceasefire, I hope you’re satisfied with yourselves.
Shame on all of you!

This is a lesson Europe refuses to learn.
We either need to change our approach, or we will suffer the consequences.

🚨 The recent surge in violence in Brussels reflects a broader, troubling trend.
Organised crime is spilling out into people's everyday lives.

Some people like to act as though the Iranian diaspora is different from the Iranians in Iran.
These bad actors attempt to make this distinction to delegitimise the loud and powerful voice of the diaspora.
But in reality, there is only one difference.
One group has internet access, and freedom of speech. The other is oppressed and forced to toe the line—or risk imprisonment, torture and death.
The Iranian diaspora speaks so powerfully because they know they’re not just speaking for themselves. They're speaking for the voiceless. Those stuck in the darkness of restricted internet.
Trying to make that distinction is immoral and disgusting. The Iranian people are Iranian no matter where they may be.
We need to listen to them.
English

The Left is not Democratic.
They speak about enforcing democracy, but that often means shutting down speech they do not like.
Arresting someone for social media posts, or banning the most popular political party in Germany is fine by them.
That makes it so much more aggravating to hear them talk about "democracy".
Because they have proven themselves to be fundamentally undemocratic.
It's laughably hypocritical.

On April 16th, @SebastianTyne a member of the European Parliament was criticized in the Finnish media for using the term "raghead" (rättipää) to refer to the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In reality, Tynkkynen was by no means referring to Iranians or Middle Eastern residents in general.
Tynkkynen has already become a legend on a global level among Iranians, as he is one of the few influential European politicians who has advocated for the people of Iran. He is frequently quoted in diaspora media, such as Iran International.
While Helsingin Sanomat and other Finnish media outlets criticize Tynkkynen, they should consider whom they choose to interview. Last week, Helsingin Sanomat published articles produced in cooperation with journalists from Tasnim, the media outlet of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The IRGC is classified as a terrorist organization in the EU.
There is more, as Helsingin Sanomat and Finland’s national broadcaster (YLE) frequently interview the brothers Trita and Rouzbeh Parsi, who are effectively hybrid influencers for the Islamic regime in the West.
The only Finnish politician with a correct situational awareness of the Middle East is specifically Tynkkynen; and among the parties, the Finns Party—which has been labeled as racist for decades—has defended the rights of women and girls the most and opposed extreme Islamism, both in Finland and in the Middle East.

Foreign regimes are taking advantage of our naivety.
I support this urgent motion for a European Parliament resolution, made by my great friend and ECR colleague, Charlie Weimers, because it excellently promotes the line that must be drawn clearly:
Places of worship are for faith – not for foreign regimes to project power.
Across Europe, we are seeing an increasing pattern where hostile actors, like Iran, exploit religious institutions to spread propaganda, gather sensitive information, intimidate dissidents, and influence democratic debate.
Should we just accept this?
Absolutely not.

Time to act against foreign influence operations! I call on all Members of the European Parliament to support this initiative. We cannot allow foreign regimes to use mosques to destabilize Europe from within.
