What led to this PSG goal? Was great attacking with an excellent pass combined with a deadly run behind the lines? Or Was it lack of communication and enough pressure on ball carrier? Or something third?

You will keep your speed, maintain strength and reduce fatigue compared to traditional strength training. How do you train in season?

Shifting to isometric workout instead of traditional strength training during periods with a high load in season might do you good!

@Keepitonthedeck Do you still coach and if yes how often do you use video analysis to illustrate something to your players?

@EBL2017 Once again Arsenal seem to be slower than its competitors. City and Liverpool already on the market.

Last year, Arsenal compromised with Sterling after missing out on their main targets. This year, there is no excuse for the board. Deep-lying players are easier to sign because they are cheaper, but the forwards are expensive. Arsenal need two. Not one, two. Deliver for Mikel.

Marcelo Bielsa’s time at Leeds United is by some regarded by one of the most transformative managerial periods in recent English football. Taking Leeds from a mid table championship team back to the Premier League.

Central to his philosophy was that the journey mattered just as much as the outcome where the quote “in football, the most important thing is not to win, but to try to win” really embodied this philosophy. Stay focused on the journey and the result will come 🚀🙌 #footballcoach

@EBL2017 I think a serie A club would match him perfectly. I also think he has simply underperformed his Xg and at some point it’ll probably turn to the positive.

I wonder what extremely sensible club is going to sign Darwin Núñez this summer. How many forwards out there guarantee goals, assists, pressing, height, and a one-man attack transitional threat? A wild character, maybe, but if you can tame him then he can explode. No doubts.

@Tapticsapp No, but when teams commit 6/7 players to press or stop the build and they only keep a few back, it makes sense to use this direct play. This is one of the quickest and easiest ways to beat this kind of press.

When a team presses, you have to train to beat it. My U15s have done this sequence unopposed and semi-opposed many times to work on movement and delivery: - find the full back - direct ball to center forward - one-touch layoff - attack the goal

@kieronbutton17 Open communication is everything. Not enough players have a voice within the team when it comes to expressing themself tactically. A lot of players don’t like speaking out loud and therefore need another media to express themself.

@Coach_Temisan Not a great enough incentive to become a coach developer or? What is the ‘why?’ Behind these symptoms?

"We don't have a big enough talent pool!" After sitting down with Ian Wright yesterday at Baller League, we talked about coaching in this country. When I explained the main challenges facing coaches: - FA Level 1 now online - Not enough Coach Developers - Availability of UEFA C & B Licence courses - UEFA C Licence being the 1st face-to-face Licence This was his consistent conclusion. We are not developing our coaches enough to have a large talent pool and then giving them an opportunity (whether they have played the game or not). And...it's no wonder we don't have an English National Team Manager. It was refreshing to hear a legend in the game speak so passionately for coaches.
