It’s an infection, the most dangerous of infections - but sin has never been what it means to be human. When Christ’s victory is brought to completion in us, and our wills are purified and transformed to the point where sin becomes inconceivable for us, then we will be perfectly human and perfectly natural - we will be precisely as God intended us to be.

@KevinHVBui Yeah, I think you're right. I guess the outdoor stuff probably started later. I just remember how bleak that Holy Week felt. I hope I never have to miss Mass on Easter again, God willing.

I don't know why I didn't think about this six years ago, but why did we not all have Masses in open fields, on the Easter that Covid had shut down the churches? Was that ever a thing?

@SpenKub @plungeeboi Yeah, I agree. I rhink part of the problem is it isn't weathered yet. Give it a decade or two and it might atart to look a but more normal.

@plungeeboi I assume its something about the facade brick that looks artificial There's a fancy Presbyterian church in st paul that looks similar but I think the weathering makes it look better
