@CTOAdvisor Takes vision to grow

All good things come to an end. Personal bests are excellent points of reflection and motivation. My engineers just wiped the storage array and nodes that represented the culmination of the CTO Advisor Hybrid Infrastructure #CTOAHI. It's an idea I sold to Lucinda Hendry and @TechAllyson when they worked for Intel. It was a big idea and a big gamble. It powered the start of several successful relationships and projects, including HPE, Google Cloud, Oracle, Juniper, and Dell Technologies. I remember when Melissa Townsend and I signed a $60K/year agreement for co-location space based on no deals and no pipeline. All of my peers told me it was a bad idea. That idea earned well over $1M in revenue at a time when revenue from conferences evaporated. Not only did it make ends meet for us, we were able to employ contractors and help them reach their career and financial goals. Man, oh man... What a run. Pictured below is Melissa in our office space at QTS and with the BOM for the first hybrid infrastructure pod.
