@ID_AA_Carmack I stay largely for the space community who will stay here as long as SpaceX are a major player in the space. But a lot of my communities have moved to different platforms as a reaction to platform changes that affect their livelihoods, and I can't say I blame them.

It would be nice if some of the Twitter diaspora returned. So many creatives, but also many developers, that generally enriched the experience are no longer active. Those that performatively left and those with a seething hatred of Elon probably won’t be back soon, but a lot of people just disengaged on vague cultural grounds that can be reevaluated. There are probably some technical tweaks to the algorithm that could make them more comfortable. I don’t mind the existence of independent echo chambers that people are happy within. There is only a problem when some echo chambers are allowed and others aren’t. Reach out to lapsed friends!

I think my opinion is this: Everyone has the right to say whatever they want, but they should also be willing to deal with the consequences. If someone was at my house & talks moon landing conspiracies & doesn't stop when I ask, I can ask them to leave, that's their consequence.

The other day my YouTube chat was very off topic. It was just constant flags, either US or Ukraine, or things like "NAZI rocket" or "MAGA". Over and over, very off topic. I don't generally filter / block keywords, but seeing how off topic chat was, I'm reconsidering. What do you think is best?

@getoutline Despite my strong aversion to Coda's insane pivot to AI integration in their app. I'm most annoyed that their app has been really great, and has served my friends and I well. The Table data types and math functions integrated have been fantastic. And will be severely missed.

@getoutline I'll give y'all major props for having code highlighting in code blocks. I've had *that* issue submitted to Coda since 2018 that STILL isn't resolved.

@getoutline Hey, I was wondering if y'all have a roadmap for future features. My friends and I have used Coda a bunch for collaborative projects, but with Grammerly acquiring them, we decided to move things to selfhost. So far it's been pretty nice but some features are missed.

@ericmigi This makes me so excited. I managed to hold out till December of 2023 when I finally switched over to a Garmin 255. You can count me in for buying one if you manage to release new hardware. To this day nothing beats how fantastic and thoughtfully laid out the UI was.
