@ericmigi @Pebble You'll be happy to know that after months of bugging you about a size 14 or 15, I caved and pre-ordered a size 13. Pretty confident I can make it work. Submitted an application for Beta as well...excited for my Index either way!! 😀

To each their own! But for me, we designed @Pebble Index 01 to be as small/thin as possible, with zero need to take it off for charging. Ordered one already? Apply for the beta test to get it early - forms.gle/yrGuLM3nJ5embZ… We made our ring for your index finger - where it is constantly rubbing up against your phone, bike handlebars, jeans pocket etc. It's gotta be slim or else it just gets in the way and you stop using it. Index 01 is also incredibly simple - it's a ring designed to capture quick notes/reminders/todos. That's it! It doesn't record meetings, it's not a virtual assistant, etc. On top of that, the Pebble app is fully open source, with on-device speech recognition and LLM, and is completely customizable. Send your notes or recordings to OpenClaw, agents or any webhook. Integrate with your own MCPs. I personally love using it to message my wife through its @beeper integration. From what I've seen, the other rings are targeting specific niches - Sandbar is focused on building a voice agent that mimics your voice plus more of a stream of consciousness lifelog. I met the other ring guys a few years ago - they were building a trackpad ring, now it looks like they're building a ring to input into Wispr Flow on your computer (which is a fantastic app btw - I am an hourly active user) which doesn't really make much sense to me - I've never had any trouble with wispr flow picking up my voice via macbook mic in busy coffee shops. @StacyPark87 @ericmigi NATO straps you’d want to use normal non quick release pins but you could remove the quick release from our silicone bands with a little maneuvering

@ericmigi @Pebble Just pre-ordered mine. It wasn't stated on the pre-order website but will you be able to take the detachable spring bars out of the factory straps and utilize them for other straps like a nato strap?

Quick @Pebble Round 2 update - we’re making progress but not in mass production (MP) yet! TLDR - Currently in beta testing (In US? Apply here to join forms.gle/XWUjiPoMLgNfR6…) - On track to start shipping Pebble Round 2 watches in July - Current plan is to be finished shipping out all preordered PR2 in September - Beautiful black or brown leather straps will be available to add More details I was in China 2 weeks ago reviewing the latest pre-production samples. I found a cosmetic issue that we needed to fix (an indentation from CNC milling near where the watch lug connects to the watch case - see picture). It was a tough call, because we were so close to starting mass production. We’re modifying the metal-injection-moulding tooling now to avoid this CNC cut. I really wish we could have started MP sooner, but I guarantee that it will be worth the wait!

@smorf310 We're aiming to start Round 2 mass production soon, but we don’t have a firm start date yet. As soon as mass production starts, we'll have a better idea of how long it will take to ship out all pre-ordered Round 2 watches.
