Stepped back into my classroom with a helper today. He did all the heavy lifting! 🩷 Thankful for all of my @os_tigers & @FCCPS friends for the texts, emails, calls and cards over the last few months. Biggest thanks to the two amazing long term substitutes who filled in for me!

I always love to visit @TechTorpey and watch this master teacher at work! Today her students are making magic happen with ShapeGrams! She shared a @edpuzzle video and @Schoology Google Drive Assignment with a drawing template. A great way to explore the functions of G Drawing.

Spent a day in DC on a field trip with my own 4th grader. We went to the White House Visitors Center and the kids earned a few Junior Park Ranger Badges! Was so informative and hands on. @islandcreekes @MauraLibrarian

@MrsFayT I would run into Torey doing SACC morning dropoff for our kids & we'd follow each other in traffic. We both said many times to each other how nice it was to be double neighbors.

#toreystories Not only was I lucky enough to have @MrsFayT as my work neighbor across the hall, but she was also my actual neighbor. I would often run into Torey & L walking in the neighborhood or in Wegmans. L also went to the same school as my boys.

@MauraLibrarian You are absolutely not alone. All structure goes out the window for at least the first month of school. Throw sports and practices on top of it all... Family dinners are maybe one night a week only!

Educator parents: anyone else too exhausted for family dinner? During COVID virtual, 7 yrs of unbroken family dinners went out the window; I was too tired to converse. Back to building 2 yrs ago? Same. Overstimulated & exhausted. Still have no words left for home. Feel so guilty.
