This video actually supports a key point: standard Roman crucifixion often took atleast 24–48 hours or even longer for death to occur, sometimes up to several days due to slow asphyxiation, shock, and exhaustion. Yet the Gospel accounts say Jesus was on the cross for only about 6 hours before dying. How is such a quick death possible for a healthy man in his prime, especially when the two criminals crucified with him were still alive afterward even requiring their legs to be broken to hasten death?
Medical and historical sources confirm that severe prior scourging could shorten survival time through massive blood loss and hypovolemic shock but even then, 6 hours is unusually rapid compared to most documented cases. This discrepancy, along with other inconsistencies in the reports, aligns with the Qur'an's statement: “Those who claim Jesus was crucified are 'in doubt' about it, having no real knowledge and only following assumptions. — they neither killed nor crucified him, it was only made to appear so.” (4:157)
