Hasan Piker has a long track record of commending and excusing terrorism. He routinely uses his platform to spread anti-Jewish tropes, amplify propaganda from designated terrorist groups, and promote toxic anti-Zionism. Despite a backdrop of intensifying antisemitism, Piker does all of this, not only unapologetically, but proudly. Dr. Abdul El-Sayed’s decision to host campaign rallies with Piker is not just alarming; it’s absolutely shocking. It reflects a broader trend: the dangerous normalization of antisemitism in our politics. That this is happening in Michigan, where Temple Israel was targeted in a violent antisemitic attack less than two weeks ago, makes it even more egregious. If the attacker had succeeded, it could have been the worst mass killing of children in US history. Sam Graves, the chairman of the House Committee on Transportation, is withdrawing his paperwork seeking re-election in Missouri’s Sixth Congressional District on Friday. “I think it is time for me to step down,” Graves said in an interview. “I filed for re-election, and I was still kind of evaluating…my next chapter in life, and what that might look like.” He said he made the decision earlier this week. Everyone assumes this picture of Buttigieg is him eating a chicken wing, and that's because he's biting in a way to engage his "rip-the-flesh-from-the-bone" front teeth, so we fill in "chicken wing" to make it make sense. But what he is actually eating is a small piece of a cinnamon roll, and our brains just can't comprehend biting into a small piece of dough that way. It's like an alien took over a human body and is unfamiliar with the subtleties of how it works.
