recording aside, sometimes having your attention be spilt between fighting, listening to dialogue, and trying to read a tutorial quickly flashing across your screen is enough to miss almost anything. but people that watch first time playthroughs probably just forget what it was like to play for the first time. but everyone plays totally different, and mistakes are inevitable!
