@Joyofthesaints The Book of Mormon is challenging, but I cannot think of a faster way to elevate one's knowledge from any standpoint than brute-forcing one's way through the text, holding it to the highest standard possible and testing every claim it makes.
English

@rstchristopher @RELENTLESSRG @economic_eth I believe the trinity as long as it is explained correctly: One personal God the father, one God or divine nature or essence that incarnates in the Word of God in Jesus, as well as manifests in the Holy Ghost, three "persons" but really one "God".
English

@TextbookLDS @RELENTLESSRG @economic_eth An enemy of false prophets and demons?
Yes.
The Trinity is real my friend. And when you resort to deceptive arguments, it is not Truth you are seeking, obviously.
English

@ShawnRyan762 Honest opinion: 2 Maccabees doesn't even say definitively that the tradition it cites is true, and the church schismed before that book was ever canonized by anyone. Ethiopia makes more sense in the context of the Book of Mormon, a similar artifact, originating there as well.
English

A deep dive into the Ark of the Covenant—what it was, where it may have been, and why its significance goes far beyond the mystery of its location—this conversation unpacks the historical and archaeological context surrounding Shiloh, challenges popular claims about the Ark being hidden in Ethiopia, and breaks down why many widely circulated biblical “discoveries” fall into speculation rather than evidence, before shifting into an evidence-based case for the resurrection of Jesus through prophecy, historical accounts, and archaeological support, while also exploring spiritual warfare, including the reality of demons, the nature of evil, and how these ideas are often distorted by modern media.

An exorcism prayer is a good thing. That’s not negative.
Your deceptions are obvious.
Here it is again:
“I cast you out, unclean spirit, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. I bind you by the power of the Cross of Christ and command you to the pit of hell, that you may no more afflict souls. Amen.”
English

@rstchristopher @RELENTLESSRG @economic_eth The church wasn't wrong necessarily - it was however permitted to fall into non-binding errors and into captivity to governments. Christ is the incarnate Word of God. Don't be so negative, but hold on to your skepticism - there is no better way of deriving at truth.
English

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”
~ Matthew 7:15
You might want to ponder and pray whether the church was wrong for 1800 years. And maybe don’t follow heretical views that deny that Christ is the incarnate Word of God.
Here’s a traditional exorcism prayer to help cast out whatever demons have convinced you that deception was an appropriate tactic:
“I cast you out, unclean spirit, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. I bind you by the power of the Cross of Christ and command you to the pit of hell, that you may no more afflict souls. Amen.”

@TextbookLDS @PaxDomini0 @LutheranAnswers Funny since you post falsehoods. But I said I will stop posting to save you from yourself, so I shall.
English

No.
The tough thing about criticizing Mormons is that they actively lie about and obfuscate what they really believe.
Adam@Curi_Christian
The tough thing about criticizing Mormonism is that they are really nice people.
English

@PastorBowman @PaxDomini0 @LutheranAnswers Keep digging - you will find nothing but the truth in what I say.
English

@TextbookLDS @PaxDomini0 @LutheranAnswers So now God is the author of evil. You are saying that God willed us to Fall. You just can't help but dig that hole deeper.
GIF
English

@PastorBowman @PaxDomini0 @LutheranAnswers God's will is good - his will to give us commands, and permit us to fail to abide by them, earning the consequences for ourselves. Like how you witness falsehood, thereby cursing yourself to never attain to knowledge of the truth: Repentance is the only escape.
English

@TextbookLDS @PaxDomini0 @LutheranAnswers Joseph Smith says the Fall is good when everything God has said concerning the Fall is that the fall is bad and Smith isn't contradicting facts?
GIF
English

@TextbookLDS @LutheranAnswers I'm not claiming I can remain in sin. Quite the opposite in fact. You really are flailing here. It's pretty amusing to watch. But I probably should stop posting in order to keep you from digging yourself even deeper.
English

@PastorBowman @LutheranAnswers You should try following Jesus himself instead of nullifying him by claiming his sufficiency is enough for you to remain in sin.
English

@TextbookLDS @LutheranAnswers Fine details like Jesus, God the Son incarnate, who is of one substance with the Father, died as the all sufficient sacrifice for sin in order to redeem us from the Fall (the very same Fall that is bad)? I think I'm good.
English

@PastorBowman @LutheranAnswers Then you should study it again, and try to exact more of the finer details, especially of the Gospel, for you are insufficient in your conception of fundamentals to the point of flagrant error.
English

@TextbookLDS @LutheranAnswers Thank you for confirming your inability to accurately describe my view of Scripture. I consider Scripture to be completely sufficient so much so that it is the source and norm for all teaching.
English

@FightofFaith You have no claim of being saved by Jesus - you are without God in your life.
English

👀 Joseph Smith is not Jesus—he’s a dead false prophet.
But here’s what Joseph said:
Joseph Smith on God:
“God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man.”
Joseph Smith on becoming gods:
“You have got to learn how to be Gods yourselves… same as all Gods have done before you.”
Also note in relation to my comment:.
- Jesus never wrote a single word of Scripture, the Apostles did.
- Jesus never spoke King James English, He spoke Aramaic.
Comparing Joseph Smith to Jesus is a terrible insult to our great Savior. Don’t do that please.
I pray you reconsider your path, repent and follow the Biblical Jesus.
Have a peaceful day my friend.
English

@PastorBowman @PaxDomini0 @LutheranAnswers Smith wasn't wrong in what he said. He didn't contradict the facts.
English

@TextbookLDS @PaxDomini0 @LutheranAnswers If it is bad then why do you still believe Smith who said it is good?
English

@TextbookLDS @LutheranAnswers My goodness you are completely unhinged. I get the feeling you are raging like this because you don't actually know enough to respond with anything approaching sense. I doubt you could even come close to accurately describing my conception of Scripture.
English

@PastorBowman @LutheranAnswers You defer to your own imaginary conception of scripture bound in accordance with your commandments of man, like the Jews who are cursed for denying the Christ.
English

@TextbookLDS @LutheranAnswers So God's word is lies and falsehoods, for what I teach is in accord with God's Word.
It was knowing God's Word that helped me find the errors of Smith. Maybe you should spend sometime studying the Scriptures and what they say concerning the Fall.
English

We hate the Book of Mormon because it’s a lie written by a man from upstate New York.
Joesph claimed he saw an angel—like the Muhammad who told him the lies in perfect King James English— except Joseph Smith nor anybody from upstate New York actually spoke king James English.
And much much more.
Trying to compare BoM with holy scripture is one more mockery of Joseph Smith’s man-made deception.
