The builders room is a room of African founders (this includes those who have ideas and those who are currently building) The main goal is to bridge the knowledge gap currently faced by African founders, we saw a gap where 65-70% of the founders building in Africa have little knowledge about how to build a startup correctly Many founders are using the wrong business models (this includes using foreign based models in an African market) We saw founders building without understanding their market, we saw founders building without understanding the legal processes involved in their industry Just like you shared, founders solving great problems met with regulations because of one factor (KNOWLEDGE GAP) We exist to not just bridge the knowledge gap but specifically help them change the knowledge gap to fit the African market they’re building for We just launched the builder room stories which would soon start, we want to help spotlight African founders building systems that will never get funded because of visibility .
