EXPOSING the real reason why Indian cricket broadcast suck : Let’s compare BCCI with Cricket Australia because this is where the entire truth becomes clear. CA broadcasts every home match in native 4K HDR, while BCCI still delivers India’s home cricket in old 1080i HD. CA uses smooth progressive 50p motion. BCCI still uses interlaced video that looks soft and shaky. CA’s OB trucks run modern 12G SDI and IP systems built for 4K. BCCI still relies on older HD flypacks designed more than a decade ago. CA uses Sony HDC 4300 and 5500 cameras that shoot true 4K and high speed slow motion at 300 fps. BCCI’s cameras are older HD models with softer lenses and lower frame rates. CA even uses a 600 fps ultra motion camera. Many BCCI series do not have one at all. CA tracks seam and swing using a six camera high speed system. BCCI uses fewer angles and slower sampling, which is why the ball tracking often looks flat or inaccurate. CA also has a 100 camera 360 degree replay system. India relies on basic HD replays from limited angles. CA has larger and more specialised crews for shading, replay, camera operations and engineering. BCCI runs smaller teams, which affects replay quality, color consistency and camera control. CA’s color work is cleaner because they grade everything in HDR. BCCI works in SDR which crushes shadows and blows out highlights. CA outputs a clean master feed. BCCI outputs a compressed 1080i feed that already loses detail before it reaches TV channels or apps. CA also spends more time testing cameras, angles and setups before a match. BCCI calibration is often rushed, which shows on screen. And here is the biggest proof. When ICC produced the 2023 World Cup inside India, the same stadiums suddenly looked sharper and far more professional. Same venue. Same weather. Only the production changed. In short,CA spends far more per match on better equipment and bigger crews, while BCCI spends far less despite getting 40% of ICC revenue, 720 Million from home media rights and whopping 6 billion dollars from IPL media rights , still does not invest in modern broadcast infrastructure and doesn't care about fans. Indian fans and Indian cricket deserve much better than this..!

Sarfaraz: 150 against New Zealand. Dropped after the series. Shami: Legendary World Cup performance. Dropped from ODIs. Sanju Samson: 100 against South Africa. Never played another ODI. Our selection process seems to be the destruction of the fittest. Anti-Darwin. And Anti-win.

I was high on India’s growth story. But not anymore. For years, I thought we were on the right path, it’s only that we’re a poor country (thanks to colonisation) but as our income grows everything will change. And that’s going to happen soon. We’ll have great infrastructure, cleaner roads, efficient systems and whatnot. But lately I’ve been feeling it’s just a story being fed to us, the change isn’t actually coming. The slow growth that we see, that’s not going to change anytime soon- in fact, it might get worse. Simply because corruption is too ingrained in the system and scarcity mindset supersedes our desire to do better for each other. Every single time. It’s not our fault. Good behaviour starts at the top. When our politicians and their rallies leave roads dirty, I can’t expect an average Indian to take the ‘Clean India Mission’ seriously. It pinches me when I pay tax because I know it’s not just being used to build better infrastructure, it’s going to someone’s pocket too. I would love to pay more tax, but all I ask for is more transparency into where it’s being used. Every time I interact with a govt institution, I am left in awe of how inefficient and opaque the processes are. It’s a nightmare to get things done if you have good ethics. ‘Additional fee’ is almost always expected to move anything. And there's unnecessary focus on language that also sometimes dictates how you're treated. Just recently, my neighbour lost their only son (22 yrs old) to a pothole accident, within 6 hours that particular pothole was covered, while all others around it weren’t. And within weeks, that one pothole is also back to the same condition. Imagine how they must feel. We talk about taking care of our citizens- it’s almost a JOKE. My friends keep telling me govt is focussing on bigger problems right now, but I have never really understood what those are. If you know the answer- please educate me. With AI and humanoids taking over in the next decade or so, we’re pretty much doomed. We will end up with millions of jobless Indians and I don’t expect the govt to do anything about it. Maybe they’ll prevent humanoids from becoming a reality in India the same way they don’t want self-driving cars. The only way I see us doing better is if entrepreneurs take charge of building better systems, funding research, improving healthcare and driving more innovation against all odds. All around me, young ambitious Indians are driving real change, and I am so freakin proud of our entrepreneurs. We need to celebrate them more for trying, for failing. For privileged Indians like me, we live in a bubble of our mostly privatised world and that’s nice because 80% of our time is spent at home/office. So I am not complaining about my life, this is not a rant. I truly want my country to do better, and I don’t see it happening rn. I'd love to know where I'm wrong. Until then, I hope India is thriving in some other universe, because I really believe she can.

China wants skilled Indians. Germany wants skilled Indians. New Zealand wants skilled Indians. Japan wants skilled Indians. But the Indian Government doesn’t want its BEST people to build India. That’s the bitter truth.

@DeezNutsElite @naval @balajis Hey! I miss it too! I am inactive in the Indian crypto industry because our govt policies and the direction our best exchanges went have disillusioned me. I was so optimistic when it all started and thought it’s a revolution. All down the drain and India missed yet another opp!

Crypto trading hooked Gen Z & Millennials for the same reason social media did: – 24/7, no downtime – Instant feedback loops – Dopamine from wins, anxiety from losses – Tribal communities It’s basically TikTok with money at stake. Do you agree? @naval @balajis

If BCCI earns 500 crores, they pay 0 tax. If you earn 5 crores from agriculture, you pay 0 tax. But, If you earn 30 lakhs from salary, you pay 8 lakh tax. Do you know what's the root cause?

I think there exists a high powered committee of babus, whose only job is to find newer and newer ways to harass the citizens in the most painful manner possible and then recommend them to the Govt.

THE PURPOSE OF BITCOIN The purpose of Bitcoin is to shatter the welfare/warfare state and return power to the people. Yes, you can understand it as technological innovation — as a better way to hold and send large amounts of money — but at its core it is political revolution. It stops both Putin's war machine and Powell's money printer. It defunds the secret police and the NGOs calling for defunding the police. It rewards places that attract skilled immigrants and punishes those that cannot protect property rights. It does all this by breaking the 20th century centralized state's business model, by breaking both the wealth seizure of Communism and the money printer of Keynesianism. Because Bitcoin is money that can't be seized and monetary policy that can't be manipulated. So, think of Bitcoin as the ultimate zero-based budgeting. It zeros out everything that centralized states spend money on. It ends the wars and starves the beast. And then, it allows free people to decide from scratch what collectives they want to form, what public goods they want to crowdfund, and what they want to voluntarily do together as a society. In a word, it restores consensual government. You just don't do what you have not consented to do. Because Bitcoin reverses several centuries of power centralization in a few decades of decentralization. It fuses the egalitarian global government of the internationalist left with the limited local government of the capitalist right. It does this by transferring sovereignty from each centralized local state to a decentralized global network, where the collective of Bitcoin holders act as the ultimate bond vigilantes, the ultimate international union, the ultimate government of governments. And DC's declining "rules-based order" cannot match the legitimacy of this ascending Internet opt-in order. We already see tens of millions of Americans and Chinese alike voting against both Democrats and Communists by voting with their wallet for Bitcoin. Their states may be gearing for pointless war, but on the network these two great nations are at peace. Bitcoin Americans may not trust the Chinese state, and Bitcoin Chinese may not trust the American state, but neither of them trust their own states as much as they trust Bitcoin's network. Trustworthy states, of course, have nothing to fear. If you have popular legitimacy you need not fear capital flight. And already we see early adopter states for Bitcoin, from Bukele to Bhutan. Early adoption serves as a political IQ test — small and smart governments can pull it off, while big and dumb states simply will not. So big, dumb states will be hardest hit. And they will hit back. Just like they went from calling social media unimportant to assailing it as too important, so too will they go from questioning whether Bitcoin has any utility to calling it too powerful to leave in the hands of the citizenry. And then the attempts at seizure will begin. The explicit use of state force will unify left- and right-libertarians against neocons and neolibs, shattering and remaking the political compass. That's likely to begin after this cycle. And it'll be a fight that will make 2016-2024 look like the good old days. But at least we'll all know that Bitcoin has a purpose.

The more you allow the Bitcoin bros to talk. The more they lose the plot At the end of the day, nobody can clearly explain what it is or its purpose.
