Got bodied a lot tonight, but still enjoying going back. I really hope more will go back and see what makes arena shooters so special. Thanks to @1upjohn @its_stitched @MegaRetroMan for coming by. Congrats to Mega on his big win at the convention today.

@TesseractUnfold @1upjohn @its_stitched @EGuy0613 The home ports were mostly pretty good but the arcade version certainly flips you off more than any of them. I played a ton of the 2600 and C64 ports growing up.

Well for Mar10 day we went back and played one of the toughest, and swear inducing entries of all time. Thanks to @1upjohn @its_stitched @EGuy0613 Hoof and everyone else who stopped in. Everyone remembers the NES trilogy, Super Mario World, etc. But everyone should play the OG

@CobraCommanda_ The thing is best by or packaged on date gets confused with expiration date. So much stuff gets thrown out that is good. If it's after best by date it's still edible it just loses or worsens flavor

Growing up my parents basically just ignored best by dates entirely from what I recall, and would do a visual/sniff test and if it looked weird or there was mold, then it would get tossed. 😆 I tend to abide by them more depending on what it is, but certain items I do keep longer

So all those best before dates on your cans, stuff that is in all likelihood perfectly fine to eat, we toss out because it has some made up best before date affixed on the package. Feeling deceived? It just never seems to end does it? If it's not bogus expiration dates, it's being lied to by this guy, that person, and whoever ever else wants to extract money out of your wallet! Frustrating, isn't it?
