Once that @FT story by @SamuelAgini hit a couple of weeks ago it sure seemed that the future of LIV Golf - at least in its current form - was in serious jeopardy. Confirmed today by @WSJ that Saudi funding is finished at the end of the current season .. What happens to its stars is the next major question.

LIV plans to tell players and staff by Thursday that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund would end its funding for the upstart league. But the PGA Tour isn’t yet ready to welcome back those who jumped ship. on.wsj.com/3OVF13Z

Some harrowing and chaotic moments last night at #WHCD .. but so grateful everyone is ok. Heard several pops and we all got down. Thankful for the incredible response by law enforcement on site. And thanks to all those who’ve checked in.

In 14 seasons, Kirk Cousins has three playoff appearances and one postseason win. He's also one of the two top or three earners of all time, with his latest deal putting him north of $330 million. nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…

Not blaming the player at all. What’s he supposed to do - turn down the money? Of course not. The system is the system and he capitalized on it. At the end of the day, several teams have been willing to pay a premium for his above average but not elite services. I find it a fascinating study..
English

@ScottWapnerCNBC You can't blame the player. If these teams are willing to pay someone that kind if money, why should they say no? Kirk is a solid QB. 66% career completion rate, Avg 30 Tds and 11 Int, and a 96.8 passer rating. When Minnisota gave him an O-line, his stats were amazing.
English

$339,000,000 in guaranteed money. 1 career playoff win.
Nobody in pro sports history played the system to their advantage like #Kirk

@StockNews690137 @LeStonkJames actually didn't say it, and you know it, but go have your fun

Got a fun one today - We're live at 1 Market in SF counting down to Super Bowl LX with some special guests on @HalftimeReport. Joe Montana and Joe Theismann are talking ball and business... don't want to miss that, along with the investment committee on the tech takedown

@MWM76 fair point on industrial demand -- and Silver may very well go higher. Who knows. But let's be honest - a lot of that move - especially the last stages of it, wasn't due to that at all. It got meme-ish for sure.
English

@ScottWapnerCNBC yes there is a fundamental case based on Industrial demand and as a secondary investment to Gold. Supply has been in a deficit for 5 years. You guys sit on CNBC and laugh but Silver is still way up and likely it will only head higher. $SLV $PSLV
