Everyone on the left in a swing state who just couldn't bring themselves to vote for Hillary: This is all on you. Fuck you.

First Lady Melania Trump
Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough.  It is time for ABC to take a stand.  How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

I am 70 years old and have never seen this level of division and disfunction in our government. I believe the Republican Party with the help of the oligarchs and Donald Trump want to end the Republic.

The reporting is now clear: a left wing lunatic came to kill the president & his team. We have a violence & rhetoric problem on the Left that must be acknowledged. I just had this debate on @cnn👇

We were there front and center. That venue wasn’t built to accommodate an event with the line of succession for the U.S. government. After witnessing last night, drop the TDS and build the White House ballroom for events exactly like these.

Guys. It was staged. We’re not stupid. Well, not all of us anyway. They’ve figured out the only thing that shifts public opinion is the idea of an assassination attempt. There are going to be many fake claims at pivotal political moments, for the rest of his term. Bookmark this. It’s near certain.

This should be on the front page of every newspaper in America. A Syrian billionaire needed U.S. sanctions lifted so he could cash in on $12 billion in reconstruction contracts. In an attempt to influence American foreign policy, he proposed a Trump-branded golf course, cut Jared Kushner & Ivanka Trump into a multibillion-dollar real estate deal for a resort in Albania, and had someone physically deliver a stone engraved with the Trump family crest to a Republican Member of Congress with instructions to take it to the White House to get the President's attention. Trump threw his weight behind repealing the sanctions. They were lifted. The contracts are moving, the Trump family’s deals are expanding, and not a single Washington Republican is willing to say a word about any of it. This is a corruption of everything the office of the presidency is supposed to stand for, and the American people deserve to know about it. nytimes.com/2026/04/19/us/…

I watch this Virginia redistricting slaughter unfold and feel a cold fury crystallize in my veins. Hakeem Jeffries doesn’t whisper...he bares his teeth and issues the classic Democratic ultimatum: rule our way or else. The Supreme Court of Virginia is now staring down the barrel of open political extortion, the kind of naked gangsterism that used to be confined to back alleys and union halls but has metastasized into the very marrow of the modern Democratic Party. This is not “advocacy.” This is pathological dominance behavior, the same primate alpha-thuggery that treats independent institutions as disposable speed bumps on the road to permanent one-party rule. They don’t argue law; they threaten consequences. They don’t persuade; they intimidate. It is pure, unadulterated authoritarian psychology dressed in legislative drag...raw power-lust wrapped in the sanctimonious rhetoric of “democracy” while they rape its corpse in broad daylight. And what do the Republicans do? They stand there like castrated choirboys, clutching their pearls and mumbling about “norms” and “decorum” while the other side literally rewrites the map mid-game with mail-in ballots and constitutional sleight-of-hand. The GOP’s pathology is even more contemptible because it is self-inflicted: a learned helplessness so profound, a masochistic addiction to dignified defeat so bone-deep, that they have convinced themselves losing with honor is somehow noble. It isn’t. It’s suicide by cowardice. If these spineless fucks fought with even one-third of the feral, take-no-prisoners lethality the Democrats deploy as breathing, we wouldn’t be hemorrhaging congressional seats and watching blue strongholds metastasize through procedural rape. We would be carving out a permanent structural advantage that would make the next decade look like 1984 Reagan country on steroids. Instead they revel in their own emasculation, preening about being the “adults in the room” while the real adults are busy pistol-whipping the judiciary into submission. This is not politics anymore. This is a clinical case study in asymmetric warfare: one side operates like a criminal syndicate with institutional cover, the other like a battered spouse who keeps apologizing for the bruises. And the country bleeds out in real time while the “respectable” right wrings its hands and wonders why the left keeps winning. Fuck that. The mask is off. The Democrats are gangsters in tailored suits. The Republicans are the willing victims who keep handing them the bat. The only question left is whether enough people on our side still have the primal wiring to stop playing defense and start playing for keeps...before the courts, the maps, and the republic itself are gone for good. 💀⚖️🗡️

Hakeem Jeffries to Virginia Supreme Court: Uphold Spanbergers map 'or else.' It's like he's trying to scare them into bending the knee. They're relying on the leftwing judiciary to hand them a victory. Nothing more. If that doesn't happen, they're FCKED.

It's incredible, really. Conservatives are arguing before SCOTUS that the VRA is no longer necessary to prevent discrimination against Black people. At the same time, Republicans are openly plotting to bring back Jim Crow-era disenfranchisement the moment they strike it down.
Governor Tate Reeves@tatereeves

I don’t typically make news on a Friday afternoon, but today I am going to make an exception: I’m calling a special session. During the recently completed regular session, the Legislature discussed drawing new maps to comply with a decision from a federal judge from the Northern District of Mississippi - a decision that has been appealed to the 5th Circuit and the appeal has been heretofore stayed pending future U.S. Supreme Court decisions. The entire world knows the Callais decision has not yet been handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court. It is a decision that could (and in my view should) forever change the way we draw electoral maps. It is my belief and federal law requires that the Mississippi Legislature be given the first opportunity to draw these maps. And the fact is, they haven’t had a fair opportunity to do that because of the pending Callais decision. For those reasons, I am using my constitutional authority to allow the Mississippi Legislature to use their constitutionally recognized right to draw these maps once the new rules of the game are known following Callais. It is my sincere hope that, in deciding Callais, the U.S. Supreme Court will reaffirm the animating principle that all Americans are created equal and that when the government classifies its citizens on the basis of race, even as a perceived remedy to right a wrong, it engages in the offensive and demeaning assumption that Americans of a particular race, because of their race, think alike and share the same interests and preferences – a concept that is odious to a free people whose institutions are founded upon the doctrine of equality. The special session will take place on the calendar day that falls 21 days after the U.S. Supreme Court issues the Callais decision.
