Every time a video exposing problems in China goes viral, Indians seem unusually happy. Sure, criticize genuine issues wherever they exist. But shouldn’t we also be equally vocal about our own problems? Broken infrastructure, overcrowded railways, poor urban planning, pollution, garbage, dust-filled roads… Patriotism shouldn’t just be about pointing at another country’s flaws. It should also be about demanding better from our own.
