No the point of the post is NOT to discourage you from taking them out oo. My disapproval of one "coalition of corruption" shouldn't be mistaken for wanting the status quo to remain. Tinubu, APC, PDP, all these parties and individuals have contributed to this backward system and they all need to go. It’s just, if we as Nigerians are to vote out one coalition of corruption and our solution is to replace it with another, it won’t just be an action just taken out of the desperate need to kick out the the current bad but it would be a failure of us as a civilization. Moving out of desperation to "kick out the current bad" without an alternative that reflects TRUE CHANGE is a civilizational failure. We cannot keep choosing the "lesser" of two poisons and wonder why we are still sick.

MY OPINION There’s no evidence of any woman being raped from all the videos circulating online. It’s a day festival where woman are instructed not to go to some areas for the duration of the festival. Failure to do so will put you in harms way. The focus seem to be on RAPE that didn’t happen rather than the assault that is seen in this video. PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. As a woman, you have to understand something basic on this earth. Good Men are the reason you can walk the earth freely and safely. Good men. If there’s a festival and women as instructed to stay indoors, the best thing you can do is actually stay indoors. The moment you step out, you’ll no longer be under the protection of the good men because an instruction was given by men. So the good men who will ordinarily protect you will only be forced to sit and watch when evil men befalls you. Lastly, I don’t support any man molesting anyone in the name of festivals. End.
