People lose interest in this space very quickly. Last week's meta was vibe coding and today people are back to complaining how they're down bad. Here's what I want everyone to understand about Nobody Sausage We're not going to be a hot meta for this week, next week, or a month. Nobody Sausage is here to stay and we're going to continue delivering and building real value. When you get tired of chasing the next meta, we'll still be here.

@thecybersurg The only issue with that is your HW will likely become obsolete with the progression of the fsd software. I say this as a fsd owner as well it was probably a mistake to buy it outright for me if the vehicle stops getting updates 6.66 years later.

@Teslaconomics Why would anyone want to buy fsd at this point if there is no certainty that the ownership can't be transferred to a new vehicle down the road? The HW with time will become obsolete and then users will be forced into the subscription model anyway.

When Elon says Tesla is stopping the one time purchase of FSD after February 14, this is a big sign that Tesla is doubling down its transformation to a AI, robotics, software-as-a-service like company. Just my 2 cents… This is what I think may be really going on. FYI, I could be completely wrong. 1/ There’s also a big psychological angle to this. One-time prices make people stop and overthink when they buy a Tesla “Is this worth $8,000 right now?” Now imagine if this software is actually worth $100K when it can make $ for you in the Robotaxi network as an owner, many times being worth more than the car itself. Subscriptions don’t trigger that same mental feeling. $99 a month as the only option feels much more affordable, reasonable, and easy to cancel, despite it adding up overtime. That’s why almost everything has moved this way, think Amazon Prime, Netflix, Spotify. You just keep the subscription on instead of buying it outright. Once FSD becomes part of your normal monthly life, most people won’t even think about turning it off. It shifts from a big decision to a small decision, yet important. 2/ This makes FSD much easier for regular people to try. An $8,000 upfront cost on top of a car that’s already one of the biggest purchases a person is going to make in their life honestly probably scares a lot of people away and could be a reason take-rate % has been low for so long. Even if they believed in the tech, that’s a big commitment for many. Having the only option be $99 a month for FSD can give people more of an incentive to try it, live with it, and decide if it’s worth it. Lower options and friction could actually translate to more users. 3/ Subscriptions fit how FSD actually works. FSD isn’t really a finished product you “buy once and forget” yet. It’s changing constantly with new features. A subscription makes sense bc you’re paying for something that keeps getting better over time. A $99 per month for FSD feels more of a deal instead of buying something outright for $8,000 for many and constantly thinking to yourself is it worth it based on the features and services it provides, especially if it’s the only option. 4/ Tesla allowed FSD transfers under specific windows, and no one knows when it’s going to end bc Elon keeps extending it. But we all know it will probably end one day. Once the one-time purchase goes away, the idea of “owning” FSD and moving it to your next car likely will go away with it too. People start asking, “If I ever wanted to lock this in, is this my last chance?” That pressure pulls decisions forward till February 14. It’s the same psychology as limited-time offers where even people who weren’t planning to buy it outright start thinking they might regret not doing it now bc it’s about to be worth so much more very soon. Tesla understands this and they’re using it to close the chapter on ownership and move everyone toward subscriptions. 5/ This lines up directly with Elon’s compensation plan. Incentives matter. Like it or not, Elon’s 2025 pay package is tied to active FSD subscriptions. He needs to hit 10M active/paid FSD subscriptions. Moving to subscription-only could accelerate hitting those targets bc of the reasons I stated above. We shareholders voted for this, so he’s now getting ready to execute on it. So… If you already own FSD, nothing changes. You’re locked in. If you don’t, this is your last chance to own it outright and all the new features that come in the future. This in my opinion is Elon and Tesla betting on the future they’ve been talking about for years and simply aligning the business model to match it.

My life is merely a pile of chips stacked on my right shoulder. I remember them all and think of them daily: - 2000: Parents divorce - 2005: I lost my last wrestling match 0-1 to a guy I'd beaten twice - 2006: My fiancé married my friend - 2008: Close friends disapproved of our quick marriage - 2008: A family member said I'd make for a controlling husband, like my dad. - 2009: A doctor refused to prescribe me ADHD meds and told me I had delusions of grandeur - 2010: Some friends said behind my back that I was too broke to be starting my business and that it was irresponsible of me as a new father. - 2011: A boomer entrepreneur told me my business idea was terrible and that I was going about it all wrong - 2013: Business partnership fallout - 2015: Business failure - 2018: I woke up one day and realized I was fat. - 2021: Business partnership fallout Every day I waffle between extreme self confidence and extreme self doubt, it depends on the hour. Steve Jobs was insecure. Teenage girls are insecure. I'm insecure. Insecurities can either cripple us or propel us. The differentiator is self awareness. I can tie specific accomplishments to specific haters. Some of these haters were right (on paper), but they weren't in my head and didn't know the circumstance. Many of the failures were my fault. Some of the chips were placed there myself. I have 100x more supporters than haters, but I'm most grateful for the haters. That's where I get my fuel (chips) from. (and during ultramarathons I mean that literally)

Nobody Sausage has entered a new chapter. Nimbus Capital, a private equity firm with $1.4B AUM has committed $5M USD to purchase $NOBODY tokens, marking a significant vote of confidence in what we’ve been building. Over the years, Nobody Sausage has grown into one of the largest character brands on social media, and that reach naturally extends far beyond crypto-native circles. Now, we’re leveraging that existing Web2 audience to strengthen and expand our presence in Web3. This is the first step toward onboarding millions of people into crypto through an IP they already know and love, often without them even realizing they’re part of the ecosystem.
