Health insurance schemes in low- and middle-income countries are often closely associated with the idea of universal health coverage; however, in many cases, coverage falls short of the universal ideal, and it is often those most in need who do not benefit.

Cancer registries are vital tools for systematically collecting data on people with cancer. They play an important role in cancer surveillance and support the implementation of national cancer control.

In July, ThinkWell collaborated with @HopeFromWithin_ and CitizenWatch to facilitate a one-day workshop in Manila to accelerate progress toward a high-quality national cancer registry in the Philippines.
