Just 9 days after making his debut for Al-Fayha, Chris Smalling already appears to have an excellent grasp of major Saudi state infrastructure projects. Really impressive to see this kind of passion for local issues at a time when many footballers just seem to follow the money.

(I've mapped all 177 authorities with at least some green belt within them, so if there's one you're particularly interested in let me know and I'll add it to the thread).

These examples all assume that new homes will be evenly distributed across the whole authority area. The reality is that most homes will be built in existing towns and cities through a process of intensification. So green belt loss will, in reality, be even less. Don't panic!

@iamnicksimpson And right on cue, I get back to discover a wasps nest under our eaves. Bit concerned that the lumps of stuff they are carrying out look suspiciously like PIR insulation!

@iamnicksimpson Don't they normally just go about their business this early in the summer? Later in the summer, when they're cut loose they just roam around looking for quick calories and that's when we notice them annoying us!

When was the last time you saw a wasp? I genuinely can’t remember seeing one this year. I surely have, but they should be everywhere..?
