31% to community sounds good on paper, execution is what matters. hyperliquid distributed to early testnet users, active traders, liquidity providers and actual contributors and the result? 310M tokens in the hands of people who actually cared about the protocol.
aside from a good airdrop, they also gave a reason for community to hold $HYPE

☞fee payment native utility- make sense to hold to explore ecosystem
also, hyperliquid is using a deflationary token model
why would you use an inflationary token model when your token doesn't have a utility?
just creating more and more tokens into the market with no one using it would make the price to plummel
hyper is doing things differently
97-99% of all trading fees go to buying back and burning hype back
let me say that again:
every single trade on hyperliquid → generates fees → fees are then used to buy hype from the open market → hype gets burned permanently →which makes total supply decreases
this is not rocket science.

hyperliquid is the only one who stays steady during different market conditions more than +1400% from tge at the peak and +750% right now, while the other projects show -90% (got this stats from @froggieoneth )

my opinion: hyperliquid made their community happy, created real utility and vested insiders through 2027. and the rest is history. this is the blueprint most projects are too greedy to follow
