Actually, in the early church they weren’t just disqualified from being elders, they were most often disqualified from being eligible for baptism.
The problem is that most modern Christians know some Bible verses while being biblically illiterate—and being historically ignorant.

Georgia high school senior claims she was forced to withdraw from school weeks before graduation because her prom date was transgender. Emily Wright claimed she was forced to withdraw for going against the Christian academy’s values. The student brought a transgender male, who was not a student at the school, to the prom and said she was later questioned by the Principal over her prom date. “I was asked, ‘Is there anything we should know about the guest you brought to prom?’ And I knew exactly what they were talking about, so I said, ‘Yes, he’s transgender.” Source: Fox 5 Atlanta

If the Attorney General has “additional information” on Kilmar Abrego Garcia, she should take it to court—not to the cameras. Due process happens in a courtroom, not in the kangaroo court of right-wing media.
The President doesn’t get to pick and choose who gets constitutional rights. If due process is left to the discretion of the government, it means nothing at all.
When it comes to the rule of law, America can’t be half-pregnant.

my theory: when Joe was forced out of the race, he decided "screw it then, i am pardoning Hunter". Hunter is a pathetic former criminal who caused his father nothing but grief, but the gun laws he was convicted under were BS so this really doesn't bother me.
