Infinite is widely praised a great return to form in terms of campaign, everyone wants a sequel not another abandoning of the story. So you’re just plain wrong there. The studio has been gutted due to Microsoft layoffs and learned the hard way that their engine wasn’t what they hoped it could be. To add modern features would have taken time and resources they don’t have and Microsoft hiring practices has made maintaining an engine totally unsustainable. Unreal is said to solve for a lot of that. Halo is a way to them navigating back into full swing of things. It’s always people who don’t want to understand the truth throwing words around like “fake fan” and “retard” Wonder what the connection is there? Are these concepts too difficult for you to grasp?

@Lunnzies @Halo Spoken like a true 343 fanboy, 343 never understood what made Halo CE so compelling. So they tried to replicate it & they failed horribly. Bungie made a GAME first which also just so happen to allow the player to explore the entire Ring.

@TonyCleveland15 @Halo Lo que hizo a HALO fue revolucionar el género, adaptar sus controles a mando, básicamente halo sentó las bases para los FPS actuales. Pero justamente por qué hizo algo DIFERENTE, 343 ha tomado malas decisiones por culpa de los puristas que no quieren que el juego avance.

The whole reason it’s being made is a low stakes, small scope project to help them learn everything they need to with unreal. Get it feeling like Halo, pre production, development, working with other studios, QA, release and post release support. As well as testing netcode in low stakes co-op only environments all while generating some revenue.
