Here's a complete list of Commandments given by God in the law that doesn't require a temple or Priest, which makes them applicable for all today. Are there any missing? Which ones are too difficult for you to keep?

Does the Old Testament prophesy that the gentiles will keep the law, and in some prophecies, specifically the Sabbath in the future?

I have a question for free-gracers and Calvinist What is James 2 saying to you? How do you harmonize this with your view? Honestly

I really don’t care if people use “works based salvation” as a bullying tactic. Eternal life or eternal punishment is based on your deeds. It really is that simple.

@ParsonsJer14643 Easy. Jews were obligated to get circumcised on the 8th day. It’s what us due. The uncircumcised person can still reject and be accepted by God, hence why he used Psalm 32 as the example.

@BrysonGray WOW. I agree with that. Now, Paul still wrote this, explain its meaning "Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness

The “works” Paul is talking about in Romans 4 is exclusively the “works” that you need to be circumcised to be saved. Paul explains this is if you keep reading instead of trying to make Paul contradict James.

Neither James nor Paul contradict one another. As Paul tells King Agrippa in Acts 26 (after his letter to the believers in Rome), what his message was: "Repent, turn to God, and let your deeds prove your repentance." Same as James. Deeds are not for salvation but flow from salvation.

@dtorres91705 @DocKrease So, it says people will distort the letters of Paul to promote lawlessness, correct? That’s the context of the passage?

@BrysonGray @DocKrease Yes. It is talking about lawless people. The point is that some people distort Paul's writings like you do. You don't have a proper view of the law and therefore are considered lawless as well.

@dtorres91705 @DocKrease 1. Is the context of 2 Peter talking about lawless people using Paul to make you lose your firm commitment?

Actually, I can. And I did because it calls for it. People like you distort the words of Paul. Your dismal reading of Romans 2 is proof of this. And I've said this to you before and I'll say it again. Just because you're a legalist doesn't mean the rest of us are anti nomians. I'm all for calling out lawless people. But the problem is that most of the people you are calling out are not. I hate "easy believism" too. But I equally hate the heresy that Christ isn't enough.
