I have coached 37 years & I believe it is time for me to retire from coaching. I would like to thank Dr. Parton, Mrs. Huskey, & Mr. Ward for the opportunity of being the head coach at Sevier County High School. It has been a great experience and I have enjoyed every minute of it.

Congratulations on the retirement. You’ve earned it with your dedication and all the hard work and time you put in everyday. Thank you for teaching me how to compete, work hard, and to be tough. Maybe now you will have some time to work on that 3 wood. Haha Love you old man

The passion you had for the game bled over into the kids that played for you. It was a privilege to be coached in football and in life by you Lingo. Enjoy retirement, you earned it.
