Approaching 100 hours of Marathon, probably by the weekend. It truly keeps getting better, it’s everything I’ve loved in other extraction shooters I’ve played. Devs are absolutely slaughtering it with fixes and updates. I hope they continue to deliver QoL stuff. BANGER GAME

@TooHardcore @PownerOnTwitch @MarathonDevTeam Hello found out having msi afterburner open was causing the crash for me once I disabled it I was good. Samething for destiny rising on vulkan an unrelated game.

We are aware of exploits allowing Runners to cancel slides to gain boosts of speed. To maintain competitive integrity and keep the combat sandbox balanced we will be fixing these exploits in a future patch. Pardon our dust!

@TooHardcore @MarathonDevTeam I am in the same boat. Updating BIOS and all drivers did not solve this issue.

@nava94_ Same for me, reading it’s an issue with Intel Utra Core CPUs. Which is what I have, no issues on my other PC that’s AMD.

constant crashing after the new Marathon update

@RoxlyReborn Clearing the shader cash with DDU didn’t do anything. Apparently it’s an issue with the update and anyone with an Intel Ultra Core CPU. Probably not fixable until bungie figures out stuff on their end 😭 Thank you again for the help though!

HELP Marathon keeps crashing in menu and loading into raids. Verified files. Redownloaded the game. Updated drivers. No issues with other games, only Marathon. I just wanna grind 😭😭😭

At least the gym doesn’t crash every time I try to enjoy it these days 😤

@TooHardcore Yeah, it's called Display Driver Uninstaller. In the last year they updated it so you could clear the shader cache from the program too.

@RoxlyReborn DDU is a program used to wipe or roll back GPU drivers right? New PC haven’t had to do that in forever.

@TooHardcore Sometimes when a game updates they have you recompile shaders, and sometimes the game overwrites or corrupts shaders already compiled in your shader cache. If you clear the shader cache and it fixes your problem you might see some stuttering for like 5 minutes, then you'll be g.

@RoxlyReborn I was not, I can try that tomorrow I gave up for the night. Prior to the update the only issue I had was opening map on perimeter and it randomly crashing. Nothing has changed on my end outside of today’s update.

@TooHardcore I wonder if it's a shader problem, try using DDU and clicking the clear shader cache option. When reinstalling drivers were you using DDU to uninstall the old ones?

So far - Verified files (multiple times) Uninstalled / reinstalled Turned off all overlays Updated drivers GPU/CPU stats all normal entire time Deleted Temp App Data Folder Still crashed every raid 2-3min in.

I’ve tried everything I can think of, I guess I wait for Bungie to push another update or something. Damn this blows.

@RoxlyReborn Well it lasted longer but inevitably crashed again. Tried again same thing. Had it windowed with CPU and GPU stats. Nothing abnormal no spike before the crash.

@RoxlyReborn Bro………it appears it was steam overlay which I forgot I even used for fps. So has to be recent update.

@RoxlyReborn Nope still crashed. Lasted a bit longer actually got into raid. Made it a few steps.
