TorCAST watching north and central Georgia and South Carolina with TPI values ranging 2.0-3.5 with damaging winds being the primary threat pretty much aligning with SPC for the current live view. Later in the afternoon and evening the day 1 forecast shows the threat increasing over more of the southeast. Worth the watch for the damaging wind factor. #GAwx #TNWx #ALwx #SCwx #TorCAST

I think we have more of a similar opinion then you might think. I have no issues with personability in the sense that you are referring to, in its rightful place and time. its been good conversing with you! I just didn't too much like the "lighten up" comment when my concerns come from a real place of care, not a place of hateful bashing.

Is it just me or is the line between weather streamers and gaming streamers starting to blur? If I come across your live stream with active severe weather happening and you think it’s time to start acting like a clown with childish jokes on other meteorologists I’m going to flip to another stream. One person may not count to your monetization but the general public is desensitized enough when it comes to weather, they don’t need the circus act, they need the What, When, and Where of the situation during active events. I’ve only come across one, that keeps it real, and keeps it to the facts and when things start to sway he pulls it back in to the facts. Real Weather Presentation not some circus act.

That's the point Mr. Ari! no one is returning to local stations so these individuals must be held to a standard that is not yet established as it was in TV. I understand the appeal of casual authenticity in modern streaming. That said, severe weather isn’t entertainment. For rural communities relying on warnings, calm professionalism and clarity still matter most when a storm is approaching. The stakes are simply higher than vibes or should they just return to their local stations for the Walter Conkite era that actually worked?

@CiprianiRanieri Sort of like a prompt builder? Not a bad idea I mean yeah instructions would probably solve that but what if you are a multi purposed developer with a wide array of instructions and need a place to quickly generate a specific prompt. May work good thought!

The Storm Prediction Center has outlined an Enhanced Risk for severe thunderstorms today across the Mid-Atlantic from Allegheny Plateau into northern Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, southern New Jersey, and southern New England and Southern Kansas into northern Oklahoma. Large hail is also possible across the southern Plains, with a tornado or two not out of the question if storms linger along boundaries. TorCast is currently showing Enhanced TPI values peaking near 4.9 in these zones this afternoon and evening, consistent with the SPC outlook. @scr0sX Yeah that trend is actually falling. Especially in smaller markets. Local TV has too many false calls with the “first alert” weather days for absolutely nothing to happen has desensitized many.

You cannot be serious with this. This is why the news media is losing all attention and credibility as we shift towards a new era of weather broadcasting. I get not being able to tell an image is AI generated, but saying you’re betting your career on this 100% real, fact checked AI image as a station is not great.

Browsing around X seen some comments that the HRRR did not do well in the popup variety storm development today. That's one of the things that TorCAST monitors and tracks. TorCAST engine will automatically adjust the trust weight of numerical models based on their FFI (Flip-Flop Index) #TorCAST #FFI
