1/3 Given the notable insect decline across most of the UK I urge all farmers, councils & landowners to delay cutting meadows, road verges etc to at least August @BumblebeeTrust have already said numbers of queen bumbles in spring were ok. We are now all seeing a lack of workers

Great day at Wilmslow’s #repaircafe yesterday! 53 customers, 60% of all repairs successful, 290kg CO2 saved by avoiding landfill, so much delicious home made cake in the cafe, and all done by our talented volunteers! Next one Sat 2 Nov URC halls put date in your diary!
