Yesterday, the 25th of May, after my court hearing, I attended the NDC (Nigeria Democratic Congress) aspirants’ dinner — a party my political principal joined while I was still in DSS detention. While I was in detention, many people believed that Peter Obi had abandoned me, but what many did not know was that he was working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that I regained my freedom and that my wife and children were okay. At the same time, many Nigerians also stood up for me, spoke out, prayed, and demanded my release. For that, I will forever remain grateful. Today, more than ever, I am proud to call myself a Nigerian, and I still strongly believe that a new Nigeria is indeed POssible 🇳🇬 and Nigeria will definitely be OK

Social media has obviously elevated so many !d!0tt to limelight... In 2020 some yah00 boys decided to attempt something that was unthinkable... Ending Nigeria most equipped crime fighting unit SARs... because they harass them.... The Buhari govt watch the attempt gain momentum..... as a sign of surrender.... Buhari ban SARs... SARs unit was formed under IBB in 1992... and crushed violent crime across Nigeria using their special training.... Under Pressure... Buhari surrendered to the yah00 boys and ban SARs... This emboldened the mob.... if they can End SARs They can end Buhari.... Within seconds.... Endsars became EndBuhari... To succeed...there must be anarchy and sympathy.... Release all the kidnappers, Bandits and terrorists.... in total, These anarchists released over 2000 hardened Cr!m!nals... These protesters who called themselves freedom fighters Freed over 2000 criminals that took years to round up and are part of those terrorizing Nigeria today... Instead of blaming themselves for unleashing today's terror on us...they blame those trying to clean their mess.. I am still in pain that every brain behind Endsars are not in jail today... Cities burn, food banks looted to feign hunger.... Nigeria most potent crime fighting unit ended.... with the organizers still on social media promoting more !d!0ts to limelight... One is even contesting for governor in Lagos Where they destroyed public assets worth hundreds of billions of Naira.... Nigeria can't develop with irresponsible citizen.... Accountability starts with responsible citizens who latter birth responsible leaders... If you think Nigeria leaders are irresponsible...they are product of irresponsible citizens.... These 2000 hardened Cr!m!nals released by these Endsars freedom fighters have mentored thousands more Cr!m!nals ...and innocent Nigerians are paying for their actions....with some innocent Ibadan kids held hostage in the bushes... Its because of these Endsars freedom fighters that made the Urhobos to say.. it is better to born a thief than to born a mumu... Proverbs are not for kids....

This VDM needs to face the weight of the law for being the conveyor and disseminator of a fake audio of President Tinubu. This is a clear case of an egregious abuse of the social media platform.
Aneex 🌍@pious_minister

How do you really convince someone who has already decided and believes in their mind that this is actually Asiwaju’s voice? What kind of cheap propaganda is this? VDM knows that Ibos are highly emotional people, and that’s why he enjoys riding on their emotions.

We Igbos must accept the brutal fact that so long as Nigeria is concerned we are completely irrelevant No person needs Igbo vote to become president of Nigeria. And the last time we won the election we were rigged out So why don't we focus on building the holy land of we Igbos and allow those who own Nigeria govern themselves Igbo presidency is a setback, a distraction and a statistically unachievable goal we must desist from Be Igbo and Igbo unapologetically.

APC is in charge of the Governments of 18 out of the 19 states in the Northern part of Nigeria. 18! This is the first time any political party will be that dominant since 1999 (4th Republic). I am not saying anything. I am just saying for those who think the “North” doesn’t like PBAT or APC…well

First, you were caught pants down with Omojuwa of all people. The next thing is resignation and setting up your boss for dragging. Later you made a video telling us that you have no Presidential candidate. Before you know it, you want to use the influence of the same man you betrayed to contest for HoA election. When we started asking questions, you doubled down and went on a blocking spree. And just yesterday, you came up with a fake apology because the dragging is getting too much, not because you are truly sorry. Well, like I said before, a betrayer will always be a betrayer. I can forgive a betrayer, but I will never trust a betrayer again until time and situations prove that he has genuinely changed. For those of you that will come here to tell me to stop, Una de craze. Where were you when we started raising the issues? Many of you were already celebrating his ambition, while many of you were afraid of talking about his betrayal of the movement. Just bear it in my that I no send anybody papa here. The fact that you allowed your friend to call Peter Obi an unserious person, you crossed the red line and I will always see you the same way I see Reno, Bwala, Omojuwa and every other person disrespecting @PeterObi today.

It is just that Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso appears more strategic and more accommodating than Peter Obi. You can already see it in the way he immediately opened his doors to welcome Peter’s people, using them to expand his political structure and influence. That is the difference between politics driven by structure and politics driven mainly by popularity.
Sulaiman Uwaisu Idris@KafinHausaa

“Our man” Kwankwaso is no longer pretending. All he cares about is selling his red ideology to Southerners. Sharp sharp, no delay. Better cash out for my Kano NDC friends while the market still dey hot.

If Nigeria is left with only PO and BAT as the two options for the presidency, I will choose BAT 100%. This is not about “the devil you know and the angel you don’t know” I know both of them politically, and I know their records. BAT has proven leadership capacity from his days as Governor of Lagos State and as the architect of ACN, where he built and mentored political structures that are still standing today. Love him or hate him, his political influence and leadership results are visible. Peter Obi, on the other hand, remains one of the most overrated politicians in modern Nigerian politics. Back in 2022, I openly said that if anyone could point me to one major signature project from his time as Governor of Anambra State, or show me people he personally mentored and built into public service or national politics, I would delete this account , and I still stand by that statement today. Till now, nobody has been able to present anything convincing beyond media hype, emotional blackmail, and empty promises packaged as “good governance.” But if you ask me to mention Atiku Abubakar’s achievements, both as Vice President and as a private citizen, I can do that confidently and without hesitation. Thank you

NDC, like I said, this is bad. This is really, really bad. You set your prices so high. Yes, you may be the cheapest, but cheapest does not mean affordable. We cried out, you pretended to hear us, then you announced discounts for certain categories of people. But what is this I am hearing now? That after paying these already outrageous fees, candidates are still being asked to pay so-called “optional” party support money? ₦3 million for State House of Assembly. ₦10 million for House of Representatives. And so on. Are you people trying to use money to scare the average Nigerian out of this race? How is this money optional when these same candidates will still face screening? How is it optional when they may still face a consensus process influenced by party leaders, who should not even be interfering in that process in the first place? In Nigerian politics, “optional” is hardly ever optional. Candidates will feel pressured to pay because nobody wants to be marked as unserious, disloyal, or not supportive of the party. NDC! NDC!! NDC!!! How exactly are you showing Nigerians that you are different? We are complaining that your form prices are already unaffordable for ordinary Nigerians. Now, on top of that, you want to add another layer of financial pressure and call it party support? This is how ordinary Nigerians are quietly pushed out of politics. First, you make the forms expensive. Then you add “optional” party support money. Then the person still has to campaign, print materials, mobilise supporters, travel around, attend meetings, and fight primaries. So where exactly is the ordinary Nigerian supposed to enter from? If you need money to run the party, why not hold a proper fundraising event? Why not open a transparent donation platform where Nigerians who are willing and able to support the party can donate freely? Why put more pressure on aspirants who are already struggling with outrageous form prices? Where is an ordinary Nigerian supposed to get the money for your form, let alone the extra money you are now allegedly asking them to pay? Again, NDC, how are you different from the old order? @PeterObi, please sir, I know you will not support this kind of thing. Are you aware that leaders in your new party are allegedly doing this? You said you want a Nigeria where the son of nobody can become somebody without knowing anybody. Sir, how does this kind of thing reflect that vision? How does the son of nobody compete when the gate into politics keeps getting more expensive? Please, we will not stand for this. @NigeriaNDCHQ, watch it. Do right by Nigerians. Show us you are different.
Karigwe (Prophet of Thoughts)@Karigwe

NDC, this is bad. Really bad. How can you call yourself a people’s party when the people cannot even afford to run for office under your platform? ₦2.5 million for State House of Assembly. ₦6 million for House of Representatives. ₦8 million for Senate. ₦30 million for Governorship. ₦60 million for Presidency. This is not democracy at all, democracy is supposed to be a government by the people for the people but this one is just for the elites. This is nothing but a way to stop ordinary Nigerians from ever running for office. Because tell me, how many ordinary citizens can afford this without being sponsored by some godfather who will later want to control them? A Nigerian minimum wage worker earns ₦70,000 per month. That means the cheapest form here, State House of Assembly, is almost three years of salary if that person saves every naira and spends nothing on food, rent, transport, bills, family, or survival. For House of Reps, it is over seven years of minimum wage salary. For Senate, over nine years. For Governorship, over thirty-five years. For Presidency, over seventy-one years. What exactly are ordinary Nigerians supposed to do with this kind of system? Even in the UK, where the standard of living is far better than Nigeria’s, standing for Parliament requires a £500 deposit, and that deposit is refundable if the candidate gets at least 5% of the votes. Refundable is the key word. A UK minimum wage worker doing only 20 hours a week can earn more than that in a month. But in Nigeria, a full-time minimum wage worker cannot even afford the cheapest political form after one full year of work. So we need to ask the honest question: Why does it cost more for an ordinary Nigerian to attempt State House of Assembly than it costs someone in the UK to begin the process of contesting for Parliament? The US is different too because ballot access rules vary by state, but their major problem is campaign funding, not political parties charging people tens of millions just to buy internal party forms. This is exactly why Nigerian politics keeps recycling the same rich men, godfathers, political merchants, and sponsored candidates. You price out the ordinary citizens first, then you pretend to be shocked that the same corrupt class keeps returning to power. NDC, if you are truly a people’s party, then stop pricing the people out of politics like the other political parties are doing.

The entrance of Goodluck Jonathan into the presidential race has completely changed the dynamics of the election. Peter Obi appears to be the biggest loser in this political equation. By choosing someone academically and politically bigger than himself as a running mate, he may have unintentionally retired his own presidential ambition after what could be his last shot in 2027. Now, regardless of the outcome of the 2027 election, the North is likely to produce the president in 2031. In the end, a selfish decision may have crashed his own dream.

This is the reason, he ran away from ADC to NDC, so that he can have the ticket without any interference. Yet, in truth, this exposes his weakness and his leadership capacity to right thinking Nigerians (emphasis on “right thinking Nigerians”, not Obidients). Peter Obi in 2027 will lose the election and will come out fourth in the results, behind APC, ADC, PDP, and then NDC. Bookmark this post.

How many wise people engage head on when time is a major factor? After the primaries, deflection will be impossible, the man made a promise to his supporters: ‘I will be on the ballot in 2027.’ You wished to watch that promise fail, but you and your cohorts have been disgraced.
