In this life, the loudest critics are usually people who have never done what you’re doing, and will probably never even try.
They’ll condemn your efforts, not because you’re wrong, but because deep down, they can’t imagine themselves doing half of what you’re doing. That’s why you can’t let their words slow you down.
Not all criticism is bad, but it has to be constructive.
Before you take it to heart, first look at who it’s coming from. If the person has never built, never tried, never sacrificed, then don’t give their opinion the power to derail you.
Many times, people criticize you not to make you better, but to break your spirit so you can shrink back to their level. Don’t give them that satisfaction.
Instead, carry your vision like your daily bread. Morning, afternoon, and night, show up. Work on it. Nurture it. Eat, walk, and sleep with it until the results speak for you.
Let every negative word sound to you like a barking dog in the street: noise, nothing more.
Keep moving. Keep building. Keep showing up.
Your results will silence the noise.
