This is a kind of academic fraud. Every major systematic review on "gender-affirming care" has found the evidence of benefit is extremely weak, and the risk of serious harm is large. So activist researchers just *self-identified* their flawed review as a "systematic review."

The review was commissioned by NHS England years earlier under a different government. Even if u can’t do perfect RCTs it doesn’t magically turn weak, biased studies into strong evidence

The reason transphobes are always suggesting "therapy to get used to how their body is" (conversion therapy) is because if they admit that conversion therapy doesn't work, they have to admit that trans people are not only born but that they are who they say they are.
