What does a good return for Knies even look like? I legitimately don’t know if I’d be happy with anything other than a top pair D with control.
But willing to hear other ideas.

I’d be lying if i said a price for Knies, it’s very tough.
I think it’d be a comparable to the rumored Habs Leafs trade with Zharovsky, Pickford and 2 1sts

@Pete___Hughes As a Sudbury resident and fan, i can confirm that he’s nasty. Lemieux has serious potential especially for this year.
Wolves added Kwajah and will be adding Adams. 2 top 3 players in the province and the best player in the draft

There are only 8 Defencemen who fit the mold of:
- U26
- Right Handed
- At Least 6'4"
Ottawa has 1 in Carter Yakemchuk... they could LOWKEY get another one in Micheal Kesselring for the 3rd Pair if they're not willing to commit to Spence
Would be a worthwhile upgrade on Jensen while blending well with Zub, Yak and Palo

@nitwitschool Yeah i agree and to be honest I don’t want Verhoeff at all over Carels or Bjorck
I wasn’t moved by him in the NCAA. I seriously believe Carels is better and will outshine him at NODAK next year

@TrustInConroy D-men are a little bit like goalies. Very few are a sure thing at 18. The fact that Verhoeff has dropped from "could go ahead of McKenna" to "should go anywhere from 5 to 8" is a little concerning.

I'm still strongly of the opinion if the Flames took a chance on Bjorck over Carels or Verhoeff, there is still a really good d-man in MacBeath early second round. The Denver program will only make him better and more NHL ready.
