I just finished @olsonquest ‘s The Anxiety Workbook - I cried a lot, but in the cathartic it-feels-good-to-be-seen way. Thank you, Olson, for putting this into the world, and making so much sense.

@JamesDAtLaw thanks for sharing! :) Murder mysteries aren't my jam but I'm glad to hear from you, and glad you enjoyed it.

@TunaFishJournal I liked it even though it was long. It's a very slow burn murder mystery. But I'm also a big fan of BEE already. If it's the first novel from him you read I could see it being a hard sell for its length.

What have you guys been reading lately? Mags, books, audiobooks, etc. I spent all winter learning about housing policy + racial and disability discrimination. I'll mention a few of my faves below - please let me know what you've loved recently!

@TunaFishJournal I'm about to dig into Where the Dead Sit Talking by Brandon Hobson, however. And I recently finished Bret Easton Ellis' The Shards.

Red Hot City - Dan Immergluck. This one is really niche, a discusssion of housing policy in Atlanta from the 90's to today (2021). Takes a real stab at Georgia's political leaders. Extremely detailed and informative.

Disfigured by Amanda Leduc - an analysis of disability representation (literal and metaphoric) in fairy tales. Could not get enough of the conversations Leduc starts in her book.
