A Workshop “Tally for Manufacturing Industries” scheduled for 28th March 2026 from 17:00 to 19:00 hrs in the AIEBA Conference Hall, Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar which was attended by more than 50 Participants.This collaborative workshop was very informative and practical.

On 22nd March 2026 An Awareness Workshop was held at Hotel Fortune , Bhubaneswar at 4pm organised by UCCIL Ladies Forum and FICCI FLO.The Workshop was inaugurated by Dr Santosh Bala IPS Additional Director General Police cum Director Forensic, Government of Odisha.The Workshop was started with a Welcome Address by Dr Bharati Behera President UCCIL Ladies forum she welcomed the dignitaries and said Awareness on Cyber Crime is a necessity for All and Ladies in particular who are vulnerable and easily fall prey to Cyber Crimes. Speaking on the occasion Mrs Pragya paramita Mishra Chairman FICCI FLO emphasized on Awareness on the Cyber Crime is a necessity and she stated that Women Entrepreneurs in particular should be cautious in day to day business transactions and also children should not be given Smart phone and if given necessary precautions to be taken Shri Tareni Prasad Mohanty Additional Director UCCIL stated about some vital incidents where he himself was prey of Cyber Crime and also narrated about a recent incident where his friend fell into the prey of Hackers .He appreciated that such Awareness Workshops are absolutely necessary Speaking on the Workshop Dr Prabodh Mohanty President UCCIL first of all appreciated that such a workshop was arranged in such a juncture when it is an absolute necessity.He emphasized that Awareness amongst ladies and elderly persons is an absolute necessity since they become soft targets .He stated for those who are in business awareness about different types of Cyber Crimes designed and their modus operendi is an absolute necessity.He narrated about an recent incident where his smart phone was hacked and he himself had to undergo a difficult situation The Chief Guest of the Occasion Dr Santosh Bala IPS ADG CUM Director Forensic Laboratory, Government of Odisha stated that in this time Cyber Crime is rapampant in different circles.She said Women in particular should be absolutely aware about how to tackle different types of Cyber Crimes committed she elaborated on different examples she has come across.She cautioned the ladies not to give smart phone completely to children particularly below the age of 18 years and if at all they are to be given they should be given within a time limit and in front of their parents.She stated Parents should themselves restrain from using Social media all the time and should engage the children in other activities like painting, Music or Dance and many other activities like games and sports .She emphasized that Social media is an platform where most of the Cyber Crimes are committed.She appreciated the initiative taken by UCCIL LADIES FORUM for organising such an useful workshop She was later felicitated by with momento by both President UCCIL Ladies forum and Chairman FICCI FLO After the Innagural session the Awareness Workshop on Cyber Crime was conducted by Dr Lingaraj Sethi Certified Police Trainer on Cyber Crime .He spoke on different types and patterns of Cyber Crimes and also different ways and means to take precautions and Preventive action on the Crimes committed and also usage of different apps of the Government of India to prevent Cyber Crimes .He practically demonstrated in Smart phone of participants on these precautionary measures More than 70 Ladies from both UCCIL and FICCI FLO Participated along with representatives from different renowned NGO s led by ladies in particular like Support The Workshop ended with Vote of Thanks by Mrs Reeta Patnaik Secretary UCCIL Ladies forum.Mrs Swarnabala Samal Vice President UCCIL Ladies forum and Mrs Pranati Parida played key roles in organising this Awareness Workshop.Overall Coordination of Organising this Awareness Workshop on Cyber Crime was coordinated by Dr Sanjeev Mahapatra Hony Secretary UCCIL Special Thanks to Shri Tareni Prasad Mohanty Additional Director UCCIL for sponsoring the Awareness Workshop on Cyber Crime in his Hotel Fortune.

Today i.e on 21st March at 12 noon at Hotel LYFE GAIL The Maharatna PSU in collaboration with UCCIL organised a Awareness Workshop on Piped Natural Gas for Industries.This is a first of its kind collaborative workshop with UCCIL coordinated by Hony Secretary UCCIL Dr Sanjeev Mahapatra at the behest of Dr Prabodh Mohanty President UCCIL. The General Manager GAIL Mr Kaushik Das spoke on the initiative being taken by GAIL to create a network in Khurda and Cuttack for supply of Piped Natural Gas to Industries and a detailed presentation on the same was given by Mr Soumya Ranjan Mohanty Chief Manager Marketing GAIL Other officials of GAIL were present in the Workshop The Workshop was chaired by Dr Prabodh Mohanty President UCCIL along with GM GAIL MR Kaushik Das,Dr Sanjeev Mahapatra Hony Secretary UCCIL,Shri S.Kanhu Ranjan Prusty Hony Joint Treasurer and Director UCCIL, Shri Gyana Ranjan Mohanty Advisor to UCCIL Board, Shri Debabrata Das Ex Hony Secretary UCCIL and other senior Esteemed Members from Manufacturing sector attended the workshop.President Dr Prabodh Mohanty requested to speed up the Domestic supply in bhubaneswar and also to pilot the same in Mancheswar Industrial Estate and asked Hony Secretary UCCIL Dr Sanjeev Mahapatra to facilitate the same.GAIL requested President and Hony Secretary UCCIL to facilitate the process in providing them necessary information.The Workshop was followed by a Lavish Lunch organised at Hotel Lyfe , Bhubaneswar

On 9th March 2026 at the behest of President UCCIL a team lead by Shri J.K Rath Vice President Industry UCCIL along with Shri Gyana Ranjan Mohanty Chairman MSME and Defence committee UCCIL and Hony Secretary UCCIL Dr Sanjeev Mahapatra called on Commissioner cum Secretary MSME , Government of Odisha Smt Rashmita Panda IAS at her office at Kharavela Bhawan. There was a wide range of Discussion on Clusters, CFC , Roadmap for Vibrant MSME and Exposure visits .The discussion was led by Shri J.K Rath along with Shri Gyana Ranjan Mohanty and Dr Sanjeev Mahapatra . The Commissioner cum Secretary MSME was quite impressed with the discussion and assured to call for a meeting soon where the points could be presented by UCCIL

At the behest of Collector cum District Magistrate Jajpur Shri Ambar kar moderated a session today i.e on 28th February at Jajpur on " How Jajpur s Socio Economic condition would positively impact Kalinga Nagar being a Steel Hub of India" with Shri D B SUNDARAMAM VP CS TATA STEEL & Shri Shashi Bhushan Upadhyay Chief Business Officer JSL .It was a pleasure moderating the session with two industry leaders from two Corporate Giants.

Today i.e on 27th February at 10Am City Union Bank one of the oldest banks of the country opened their Second Branch near Biju Patnaik college.The Branch was inaugurated by Dr Sanjeev Mahapatra Hony Secretary UCCIL and Shri Kanhu Ranjan Prusty Hony Joint Treasurer and Director UCCIL.Mr Kanhu Ranjan Prusty Hony Joint Treasurer and Director became its first customer by handing them a cheque of Rs 1 crore

On 6th February 2026 at 4pm at Raptani Bhawan on invitation from FIEO and Directorate of Export Promotion and Marketing, Government of Odisha Dr Sanjeev Mahapatra Hony Secretary UCCIL attended a workshop named " Utkal Setu" was organised by FIEO and DEPM,.The Workshop focussed on Global Export Expanding Reach The workshop was attended by about 70 Exporters invited by FIEO AND DEPM Mr Kamal Sahu Head FIEO Odisha coordinated the Workshop

On 5th February 2026 at 3pm, a joint workshop Decoding Union Budget 2026 organised by FICCI and UCCIL for the first time focused on the able leadership of Dr Prabodh Mohanty, President of UCCIL. The panellists included Dr Prabodh Mohanty, Senior CA A.K Sabat, CA L.G Shah, Chairman of the Taxation Committee at UCCIL, Chairman of the MSME & Defence Committee Er Gyana Ranjan Mohanty from FICCI, Chairperson of the FICCI Floor Dr Pragyan Paramita Mishra, two senior financial analysts from PWC, and Shri Sanjay Kumar Sathpathy, Co-Chairman of FICCI Odisha. Substantial representation was provided by the UCCIL Ladies Forum and the FICCI Floor. The workshop highlighted various aspects of the Budget. It was coordinated by Dr Sanjeev Mahapatra, Honorary Secretary of UCCIL. Large industry Chief Business Officer of JSL, Shri Shashi Bhushan Upadhyay, travelled all the way from Mumbai, along with Resident Director of JSL Alex Thomas. Mr Upadhyay shared his insights during the workshop. Reactions were received from various sectors, including the MSME Sector, Er Ali Kishore Patnaik, Tourism, Tarini Prasad Mohanty, Vice Chairman of HRAO, Macro Economist Prof Madam from KIITS, and CA J.K Sahu.

Tata Steel vendors meet at UCCIL Conference on 2nd February at 5pm hall under the able leadership of Dr Probodh Mohanty President UCCIL.Shri Ranjan Sinha Chief Procurement Officer of TATA STEEL along with Chief From different strategic locations like Kalinga Nagar, Meramundali etc attended the Workshop and spoke about doing business with TATA STEEL.They focussed on Odisha vendor development and also assured that Odisha being a focal point for TATA STEEL will try and develop and connect with local Entrepreneurs in days to come.
