@UncleTonyPerk @habahurhahu @27gunfighterz @realspeckzo And also we do not divide God into the Father being 1/3rd of One God, the Son being a 1/3 and the Holy Spirit being another 1/3rd that when added together becomes 1. That is a heresy called partialism. Something you'd know if you actually knew what you were talking about.

The Talmud basically says “yeah nothing supernatural in our religion worked anymore after Jesus died for some reason” and then Jews still deny Christ’s divinity.

@AnotherGroyp @habahurhahu @27gunfighterz @realspeckzo I know little because it's totally inconsistent with the Torah. How can Hashem change his mind? So one day the Torah's 613 commandments are applicable-then the next they don't apply? Kosher, blessing the new moon? Etc... I don't think he abrogated it. Agree to disagree

@UncleTonyPerk @habahurhahu @27gunfighterz @realspeckzo We don't believe man became a god, we believe the Divine Son temporarily came in the flesh to be the final atoning sacrifice for our sins, thus ending the second temple era and the rituals prescribed to achieve forgiveness. Your comment shows how little you know about this topic.

@AnotherGroyp @habahurhahu @27gunfighterz @realspeckzo The answer is anthropomorphism. We worship one God. Narration is just one style of writing. The Torah opens up with many language discrepancies and the writing style is not proof of multiple gods.Hashem is unknowable, and he is One. Not more than 1

@Sergeyk_88 @dirkjayl @realspeckzo Well somehow we make up .06% of the world, and manage to hold the record for longest practicing form of monotheism. Coincidence or God? We are okay not being part of the general consensus.

@Mystiker1290 @PAstartes1776 @dirkjayl @realspeckzo Your brain is limited to do even a modicum of research. Ask Grok, ChatGPT or any engine: the oral tradition was passed down and then recorded by Yehuda The Prince. He redacted it. The Talmud is a partial codification of those rules not explicitly recorded in the Old Testament

@UncleTonyPerk @PAstartes1776 @dirkjayl @realspeckzo How about you read Deut. 32 where Moses prophesies of the "end" of that 70 ad terminal generation and the destruction of Temple and city and the priesthood destroyed under covenantal judgement.... You insufferable jews and your pilpul...🤥

@DeepTooot @UncleTonyPerk @realspeckzo Because Judaism is not the Old Testament. Judaism is the Babylonian Talmud, which is a separate book and religion. That's why rabbis are never mentioned in the Old Testament. Also the Talmud was written 500 years after Jesus died. Christianity is older than Judaism.

@LordFarchad @dirkjayl @realspeckzo Religion works? We are talking specifically about the Temple. Jews believe the third temple will function again when the Messiah arrives. The Torah has commandments aside from just sacrifices that we still fulfill

@UncleTonyPerk @dirkjayl @realspeckzo "fails to adhere to tenets of Judaism" huh, I wonder which part of a religion not being followed could cause it to fail so badly it never works again

@Secre7Skw3rl @excathedraa @realspeckzo Every single thing about Judaism is about nuance. The law and its ramifications. We don't believe in Jesus as one of our prophets. We believe that when the real Messiah comes, the entire world will acknowledge HaShem. Our faiths are incompatible. That's it.

“What was subtracted” How about everything. Sabbath, kosher, blessing the new moon etc. If there appears someone who shows signs do not heed the words of them. Exactly what jesus did. It doesnt say “away from Gd of israel” it says another Gd whom we have not experienced. Which in this case is jesus. So not only did he subtract all laws, he also showed signs to prove it was a “new” covenant and he was a GD not known before. Pretty sure this passage was made for jesus.

@PAstartes1776 @dirkjayl @realspeckzo I believe in the Torah/Bible as divine word. Christianity and Islam are inconsistent with what it says in Deuteronomy Chapter 13. Do not add or subtract to it, do not believe in prophets that suggest it changes.

@UncleTonyPerk @dirkjayl @realspeckzo You don’t think the timing is at all conspicuous? Jesus is killed, hatred overtakes the Jews, the rituals no longer work, then the second temple is destroyed and the Jews are expelled. The timeline there doesn’t raise any questions to you? Not at all? These events are unrelated?

@TheProjectUnity The foreskin enhances sexual pleasure. The circumcision is a covenant representing the replacement of total hedonism with a higher spiritual connection to divinity.

I've never understood circumcision as a religious practice. Are you saying God made a mistake with your body? Seems really arrogant.

@UncleTonyPerk @james_tusonAU @dirkjayl @realspeckzo I'd be very curious to read some discussion or article on this as well fwiw. I guess one specific Q that is maybe easier to answer in a tweet is when was it generally accepted that there wouldn't be any more prophets with divinely-inspired writings?

@SladeTheGuy @DeepTooot @realspeckzo An animal sacrifice was instituted at a time when it was common culturally. Today, HaShem (God) wants service of your heart. A prayer is only as good as the sincerity behind it.

@SladeTheGuy @DeepTooot @realspeckzo There are 613 commandments. 1/3 relate to ritual sacrifice. We subscribe to the idea that praying 3x per day replaced them. We also study them instead. We practice the other 2/3rds, also some that don't apply anymore.

@realspeckzo Talmud=the written oral tradition+ its commentary. Citing a passage of something in it, is like reading a Senate\House debate about a federal bill--one person's view is not consensus of what the Bill's purpose is. Moreover, every single page in it has a conflict over its meaning.

@excathedraa @UncleTonyPerk @realspeckzo You don't even know what the talmud is. You think it's a Bible that Jews are supposed to follow, because you're a fucking moron who can't do a basic Google search before believing something you saw on X. Pathetic, stupid little brain.
