The “three season rule” was a mistake. Three seasons isn’t long enough to get an incarnation’s full potential. Moffat had to scrap the ending of 11’s planned arc because Matt didn’t wanna do a fourth season. I think they should stay 4-5 seasons each.

I really like the idea of introducing Man-Spider shit into a story where Peter completely gives up his social life in favor of being Spider-Man 24/7.
That's a fun way to follow up No Way Home's ending without it feeling derivative of something like Spider-Man 2

I’m less upset about other marvel characters being in the movie for two reasons.
1. Peter’s college era had a crossover like every other issue to promote someone else’s book.
2. Marvel is the world outside your window its simply other characters being in that world which I like

@GunnerDobbins Side note but i like that Frank isn't just here for cameoslop and will probably be used to really good effect thematically, having Peter confront Frank at this moment in his story as someone who also lost everyone and comparing how they've dealt with that is gonna be so juicy

I think to me the gag is way funnier if Frank has a weird affinity for stuff his wife and kids would’ve enjoyed and that is as far from what he is actually about as possible, and he’s strangely well read

The kind of season finale that takes an already terrific show and puts it in a whole other stratosphere. Takes the form of an uplifting family reunion ending and dismantles it from the inside with the direct opposite of a grace note. Arguably more Twin Peaks than The Godfather
