My read on how A.I. companies view revenue sharing with publishers:
- Some just want our businesses to die.
- Some don’t want the hassle of dealing with us.
- Some want to pay us, but they don’t want to be the only ones.
We need to find a way to get all of them on board. It wouldn’t just be the right thing to do—it would be good business.
YouTube did this years ago. The platform is now worth half a trillion dollars.

I went to an all girls hs and they refused to carry AP Computer Science AB (for the youths, that was the 2nd level AP CS) because there were only 3 of us that wanted to take it so I marched into a nun’s office and said “WELL I GUESS I’LL HAVE TO GO TO THE BOYS’ SCHOOL TO LEARN” and lo and behold, it’s now part of core curriculum.

After nearly a decade in Los Angeles, I’m heading back home—to the Great State of Texas. I moved to LA on December 18, 2015, my 28th birthday. I was “starting over.” Car packed, no job lined up, no fixed address, and not knowing a soul. Like many LA newcomers with stars in their eyes, I faced my share of challenges. But today, almost 10 years later, I’m leaving with so much gained. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside and building lifelong relationships with amazing, inspiring, and thoughtful people.
