@Indycar_Wxman IMS owns 6 jet dryers. They fried track last year in just over an hour after heavy rain.

I think (**as of time now), the worst case scenario is rain comes in further north…it exits before 11 am…then it depends on drying as to any potential delay (green flag currently scheduled for 12:45 pm).

@MJTruthUltra Beef Tallow/Crisco if you are in a hurry. Coat the pan cold, place in oven at 350. Shut off the oven and remove pan when cool. Wipe out any excess. Then clean with water and chain sponge after use.

Anyone got a cast iron pan? What do you use to season it? Any tips appreciated. I’ve been using Olive oil and doesn’t seem to hold very long and doesn’t give the best finish.
