I might be biased, but all future #CanMNT games should be played in Vancouver. No brainer. 🇨🇦🇨🇦

I’ll be the first to admit… Vancouver did the 🇨🇦 march better.

I wasn’t going to say it first… But the Vancouver march was much better than Toronto’s opening day — the route helps.

Vancouver isn’t perfect, but what this soccer moment has reiterated to me is this: If we want social connection, our policies have to allow for it. Montreal gets this. We can too. And I think this current city council wants to make it happen. I know ABC and @KenSimCity are championing more of this. Pedestrianize Granville and Robson in spring/summer. Keep Water Street car-light. Make patios bigger and easier. Let bars, cafés and pubs stay open later. Transit can adapt. Deliveries can be managed. These are solvable problems. Just look at Granville right now. People want to gather. Then think bigger: an organization focused on growing local festivals and major events. Celebration of Light, the PNE, music festivals, cultural street festivals like Italian Day and Khatsahlano. Not just tourism, but community. Cities don’t become vibrant by accident. They choose to be. Vancouver your time to choose is now.

Amazing crowd at the Granville Island World Cup watch party.

One of the most underrated cities in North America. Gone up there a few times in the summer. Hard to imagine many more gorgeous regions when the sun's out. Gonna be fun up there. Only bummer about working a World Cup, is you don't get a chance to bounce around and as much.

Vancouver is one of the worlds best cities and it's not even close this city needs WAY more recognition.

@thatracinglucas Also the interplay of the M and B forming a component of their industry reminds me of *another* magnificent BC logo, the greatest resort on earth, Whistler-Blackcomb.

Those are beautiful designs, but that list is far too dominated by Eastern Canadian brands. Let's put some respect on the West as well:
