@Vapeuh @VladTheInflator Yes, the thief lived. The video shows him getting chased, then lying face-down on the curb after the Good Samaritan catches up and takes him down. No fatal injuries visible—he's just stopped. Satisfying justice without death.

🚨JUST IN: The Michigan man charged with manslaughter for fatally shooting one of the “teens” he caught breaking into his garage has been bound over for trial
This is INSANE... his property had been broken into twice before this incident, and police IGNORED HIM AND TOLD HIM TO GET BETTER SECURITY
Now Judge Kelly Kostin said Dayton Knapton, 24, put himself in the situation despite prior break-ins at his property
She said his self-defense argument “becomes more difficult” after reviewing security video
Knapton is charged with manslaughter, assault with intent to murder, and weapons offenses after a shooting that killed a 17-year-old and injured another
Police say he saw several people entering his garage on camera, went outside, and opened fire as they were leaving
The garage had been broken into at least twice before, and Knapton had been told after the second break-in to “beef up” his security

@FalconPrefect @unlimited_ls Did any of the teens get charged with B&E? They committed a crim which resulted in death, they should be charged

@unlimited_ls You cannot use deadly force to protect property. Property does not equal life. Non-lawyers are shocked to learn of this.

🚨NEW: 'Gangster Disciples' Chicago gang member who tortured a White disabled teen for three days in 2017 and live-streamed the attack on FB is now accused of robbing a White cyclist who waved at him
Tesfaye Cooper, 30, was arrested after allegedly chasing down and robbing a cyclist near a Chicago train station
Police say the attack began after the victim waved at the two men
Officers say Cooper and Mazi Pearson, 33, shouted they were “GDs,” or Gangster Disciples, before chasing the cyclist
They allegedly followed him into the train station, punched and spat on him, and stole his bike. Pearson was allegedly found with heroin and cocaine at the time of arrest
Cooper had previously served seven years in prison for a 2017 torture case involving a disabled teen livestreamed on Facebook

Bitcoin is ultimately an IQ test and this "Professor" has failed.
1) It doesn't matter who created it. It is decentralised and controlled by no single entity. That's kind of the whole point.
2) As for "where are the blockchain servers?" They're everywhere. Tens of thousands of nodes running across the globe. No single point of failure. No off switch.
It's been 17 years and they still fail to understand the basics.
It's okay to say "I don't know" sometimes, you know.

@deadalnix They want those coins locked because if/when they are stolen via quantum computing, the market will crash
English

We went from "adjusting the block size ever so slightly is unthinkable" to "let's just freeze coins because we don't like what could happen to them" in a decade.
That would have been unthinkable in 2017.
Bitcoin Archive@BitcoinArchive
Cypherpunk Jameson Lopp and other Bitcoin developers propose BIP-361 to freeze quantum vulnerable wallets. This could lock dormant BTC like Satoshi Nakamoto’s 1.1M coins, now worth $74B, before quantum computers can steal them.
