why is there actually, legitimately, discourse around reading speed right now “8 hours to read a book is slow” “you should be able to read a book in 3-5 hours” bro we are in a literacy CRISIS, i do not care how fast or slow you read a book, just pick one up and read it

Zubair is an apt example of how men, under the garb of being the victims, benefit from the patriarchal and misogynistic practices. Also, his anger exposes his ugliness. LOVING the way this drama portrays so many ways men harm the women around them, whether they mean it or not. 🤷‍♀️

Half a million people have lost day jobs in one city and this news is nowhere in Indian media. as if these people don't exist like they were made invisible during covid from TV news media. how many cities and industries are facing this?

Apocalyptic economic fallout. NHK confirms Trump's disastrous war has completely paralyzed India's massive textile industry. With 90% of their LPG imports choked off at the Strait of Hormuz, HALF A MILLION workers just lost their jobs. The global supply chain is collapsing.

I don't think many of you undestand how much more "pro woman" and important is to write women that don't take back men that hurt them (and/or their kids) rather than another love story romantizing how "good" women look past the transgressions of the violent men they love.

I’m sorry, but you cannot call yourself a professional fashion critic while snickering, mocking, and body shaming actresses as though you’re at a gossip session. If you want to be taken seriously as a professional, you need to know where to draw the line. What you present as fashion criticism often comes across less like informed commentary and more like two friends sitting around gossiping while a camera happens to be rolling. You cannot have it both ways. There’s a reason so many people no longer take your fashion critiques seriously. @aamnaisani
