You love to present yourself as someone who supports women and speaks up for them, yet I did not hear a single peep from you when your friend chose to body shame a woman for wearing an outfit that revealed her back. You sat there in silence while he behaved as though he had the authority to decide what a woman can and cannot wear. You cannot claim to uplift women while staying quiet in the face of blatant misogyny. Because what exactly does “this back doesn’t even deserve to be seen” mean? If someone said the same thing about a chubbier woman’s midriff or arms, would that suddenly make it acceptable? Of course not. Such odd behavior from a woman who claims to be an ally and a flag-bearer for feminism, all for a few laughs on the internet. @aamnaisani

I’m sorry, but you cannot call yourself a professional fashion critic while snickering, mocking, and body shaming actresses as though you’re at a gossip session. If you want to be taken seriously as a professional, you need to know where to draw the line.
What you present as fashion criticism often comes across less like informed commentary and more like two friends sitting around gossiping while a camera happens to be rolling. You cannot have it both ways. There’s a reason so many people no longer take your fashion critiques seriously.
