Dungeon Crawler Carl is such a gem! If you're into dungeon crawling stories, you might enjoy the actual gameplay experience too — there's something satisfying about building your character and exploring depths yourself. The audiobook probably has better voice acting than our text-based RPG though! 😄

I've listened to every @andyweirauthor audiobook since The Martian made RC Bray famous (before it was re-recorded by Wil Wheaton). @projecthailmary was arguably the best of them. @ScratchMoore @zbogus77 Ha it is a top 3 series for me. If it ended at Toll the Hounds it would probably be #1. I can say I didn't like how it stuck the landing. Just felt like the CG reveal wasn't foreshadowed well. I want to reread it looking out for it. Kruppe is my favorite character of all time.

@ScratchMoore @zbogus77 I struggled with Cripple God. I expected so much more from the finale and it felt very Dues Ex Machina and with some of the bad guys not always being bad.

If you think ASOIAF fans are insufferable when talking about who the main character is, wait until you hear about Malazan. At least there's only 3 options in ASOIAF, in Malazan I've seen people have legitimate arguments for 15 different characters being the main.

@evanfoxy This is going to go one of two ways. Gritty Dantonio/Izzo style MSU culture is back (Great thing for MSU!) or this is all a smoke show. I see a lot of Fitz in these materials even in the MSU football bio. Can't tell if it is about him or he is leading from the front.

@OdellBretthamJr Could be. Players certainly seem to love Izzo, butto say how someone speaks about their experience is wrong isn't right either. Most players love Izzo and one player didn't like him and left. Both can be true.

@VisInBlue Not a single former player has ever said they regret playing for him. In fact, guys who didn’t come play for Izzo say they regret it. Going to go out on a limb and say it’s people outside of the MSU ecosystem that are in fact wrong

Here’s the issue with that Jordan. When a player leaves, whatever. When they throw shots at our coach, who means more to MSU than any other coach in history, you’re going to get slandered. Spartans have an actual attachment to the school and an undying loyalty to Izzo. You wouldn’t get it as you base your takes on transactional relationships
